These are just a few common questions that guys wonder when they’re wearing a suit or a blazer. Should you be taking off your jacket when sitting down for the meal.
Norwich has been crowned the most stylish city in the UK for men according to a recent study. Researchers for Just for Men Moustache & Beard surveyed guys across the country, and it was the East Anglian city which came out on top.

Exactly which shoes, and which style are must have for any man’s wardrobe? If you’re thinking any of these question, you’re in the right place. I am going to go through what I think are the shoes that every man should own, or to put it correctly, the footwear every man should own.
My shoe collection was terrible! I think we can all say we’ve been there at one stage or another, and maybe some are still there, but have no fear, this is the guide to help you. Back when I was younger I used to only footwear for 2 occasions; Smart and going out shoes, and then a pair for everything else.
This consisted of 1 nice, smart pair of shoes, which were usually derby or oxford, and then a pair of trainers for everyday wear. I hated shoes! This probably stemmed from having to wear them for school, walking around all day in uncomfortable footwear doesn’t exactly get you to fall in love with them, not to mention teenage years being forced to do something!
But then as we all get older and develop style, I have found a love for shoes and footwear, not only a love, but an appreciation. It can be anything; From high end pieces to classic pop culture Converse, Made In England shoes with proper workmanship or street style, whatever your preference there’s never been a better time to get into footwear.
With all of that said, what shoes does a man need in his wardrobe? Let’s get into it!

Bring on the girls!
There will be two special episodes of Take Me Out this year. One will see the script flipped and the ladies will be picking the lads, so it will be a first ever, Bring on the boys. For the celebrity special this year it will be Chloe Sims from TOWIE and gold medal winning gymnast and Strictly Come Dancing semi finalist Claudia Fragapane choosing one of the boys.
Another special will see the older generation have their chance, with lucky gents coming down the love lift.

For my outfit of the week I have gone for a smarter look, with this suit by French Connection.
I really like the smarter look, jackets and blazers are always a good thing to have. You can dress them up in a full suit for a smart look, or dress them down with a nice plain tee and pair of jeans to create a smart laid back look.
When it comes to shoes, I really love the derby style. It’s the one style of shoe I will busy time and again, and really love. Derby shoes are a smart shoe, and can be worn for almost any occasion; From a summer wedding to a night out, they’re pretty versatile when it comes to pairing them with your fashion.
I already own a pair of Kurt Geiger derby shoes, and in fact they’re my second pair, after getting those last year as my go-to smart footwear choice.

I hope you ‘ve all had a good Bank Holiday, which is the penultimate summer bank holiday…We have to wait until August for the next one! I have had such a great long weekend, if not a busy one.
First up there was the Eurovision; I usually make a big deal of it, but this year I didn’t bother, and just watched the show. If you are into Eurovision then you’ll of liked it, if you don’t, well, you probably weren’t watching anyway
One of the best parts of the show is actually the points, and this year was probably the best ever, it was a 3 horse race with Italy, Sweden and Russia, Italy fell away with Russia having a pretty good lead, Sweden came back from it and didn’t look back and won. It was pretty exciting 😀
Sunday was the big day of the weekend, I was at a friends wedding in Edinburgh. I got the train up in the morning and it was my first time in Edinburgh, other than going to the airport last year 😛 It was a great day, the weather was pretty good i.e. it did not rain and there was some sun.
My suit was pretty smart as you can see. It was typical men’s wedding attire. I wore an Alfred Brown slim fit suit in navy blue, with a light blue striped Jaeger shirt, ASOS tie & pocket square and Kurt Geiger shoes. BTW the beard is going soon, this could be one of my last pics with it so say goodbye! 😉
I took this pic on the train…You can’t see it much in the picture, but it’s one solitary house all on it’s own in the middle of nowhere. Quite a good get-a-way, but I don’t think I could cope living out there way out in the countryside.
It was also the final day of the Premier League, and Newcastle stayed up! They beat West Ham 2-0 with Hull drawing 0-0 with Man Utd. So a good weekend all round 😉 It was the last day for the Super 6, and Phil Thomson beat me by 1 point! The F1 was also on which I missed, I need to watch it on Catch-up but I heard that Lewis Hamilton did not win, so I assume something happened since he was on pole.
Today has been all about relaxing and chilling out, back to the real world in the morning.

It’s 2014 and the start of a new year, and everyone’s favourite dating show is back on ITV! Warm up to your Saturday night with the flirty 30 in your living room along with the man with the catchphrases, Paddy McGuiness.
Once again it’s a case of no likey no lighty, but this year there is a brand new twist to the show. If a guy has 1 or two girls left after the end of the final round, he’ll be asked if he’s feeling frisky or risky, with the option of choosing a 3rd, mysterious girl instead, based solely off the sound of her voice. The lad will have to choose what to do, he won’t be able to see her and she will be hidden in the love lift, is there a boy who will take the risk?
