The Best Men’s Trainers 2024 – The Latest Releases From Nike & Adidas [April Update]

We’re into another month and so there’s only one thing to talk about, the best latest trainer releases for April 2024.

I have seen a few trainers which have caught my eye, and of course some iconic footwear has got into the mainstream news for all the wrong reasons. You know why, But I’ll tell you in a second.

For one of the first times I have included Nike, Adidas and Reebok all alongside each other, as there’s some y2k nostalgia which has to get mentioned.

Here’s the latest men’s trainers for April 2024.

Adidas Samba Made In Italy White Gum

First up this month I have to mention a pair of trainers that Rishi Sunak definitely did NOT wear! These are the Adidas Samba Made In Italy White Gum.

OK I have to mention the Elephant wearing Sambas in the room. If you missed it, the uncool Rishi Sunak wore a pair of Adidas Samba trainers in an interview, and it blew up. Everyone that loves Samba’s were out rightly outraged, there’s no worse way of making a cool classic trainer uncool.

These ones are different. Back in my February trainers releases post I wrote about the Adidas Samba Made In Italy Black Gum, and for this month they’re back in a white iteration.

The same good stuff is retained, with the premium leather uppers and the gum sole.

For an expensive and exclusive pair of Sambas, these are the ones to go for. That is, if you can still stomach wearing them.

Reebok x The Streets By END

So let’s put on our classics and we’ll have a little dance shall we? I loved The Streets back in the Y2K days, and that was the infamous line from the song Push Things Forward from Mike Skinner and The Streets.

I like these trainers so much I bought a pair of Reebok Classics, and I’ve worn them for years, reliving my youth.

END have a collab with Reebok and The Streets to bring these really good looking Reebok Classics to the market. Black and gold detailing with a leather upper and a gum sole. They look pretty good to me.

Nike Air Jordan 1 Low Green Glow

As a silhouette the Air Jordan has never been a pair of trainers I’ve fell in love with, but as time goes on and more colourways come, I have started to like them. This is the Nike Air Jordan 1 Low Green Glow.

Super clean looking trainers with black and white uppers come with a flash of heel and swoosh in green. Nike seems to get the colour and colour combinations just right, and in these they have done it again.

They’ll be £120 at the end of the month when you can pick up a pair.

Nike SB Dunk Low J-Pack Chicago

Finally it wouldn’t be a trainer update month without a mention for a pair of Dunk’s, so here they are. Nike have released another colourway, these dubbed the Nike SB Dunk Low J-Pack Chicago.

The deep red combines with the white so well, and is finished off with black giving these an overall dark look. A white midsole, red outsole and black laces really bring these trainers together.

These will be on sale Friday 19th April for £90.
