I finally got my first fragrance in the Prada Luna Rossa line, and it’s the latest Prada Luna Rossa Ocean.
I had been looking forward to trying this out. When I did I really liked it, so had to get myself a bottle for my fragrance collection and of course to wear.

Prada Luna Rossa Ocean is an eau de toilette and was released in 2021. I got a few scents that year, so decided on not getting this, but finally this year I decided to try it out and then to get myself a bottle, and I’m glad I did.
What Does Prada Luna Rossa Ocean Smell Like?
Prada Luna Rossa Ocean smells like a fresh spicy aquatic scent which is really inviting with a salty and watery vibe. It really does live up to it’s name, Ocean, with the spicy, aquatic and salty smell.
I really like fragrances with pink pepper and bergamot, and you immediately get the hits of these two notes from the top. Prada has a trademark purple style of scent, and there’s notes such as lavender and iris which are both present, but in a more subtle manner than some of the other Prada fragrances.
Some may call this a blue scent, which are typically a light and marine like scent. I would say that this falls into that category, with a nice balance of soft musky and earthy tones complimenting the fresh spicy style of Luna Rossa.

Prada Luna Rossa Ocean Bottle
Prada Luna Rossa Ocean’s bottle takes the same shape as the rest of the Luna Rossa line.
It’s a squared bottle with the bottom third being black opaque glass and the rest of the bottle being an deep aqua blue translucent glass. The front has the Prada red line and branding down the front, and has a black top.
The atomiser is good, and has a nice wide spray.
I got a 50ml bottle, and there are larger 100ml and 150ml bottles available too.
When & Where To Wear Prada Luna Rossa Ocean
Luna Rossa Ocean is a versatile fragrance which can be worn during the day or night, and in almost any situation casual or formal.
Since this is a really nice and attractive scent, I could possibly save this one for an evening. But saying that, I can just as easily wear this one during the day, because of it’s inoffensive nature.
If you want to impress at work, Luna Rossa could be a good office fragrance to wear every once in a while.
In terms of seasons, once again it’s a good all rounder which can work in spring, summer, autumn and winter.
What Clothes To Wear With Prada Luna Rossa Ocean
Luna Rossa gives off really smart vibes while still being a playful enough scent to keep casual. I can wear this with a white shirt, suit or even just a t-shirt.
Just like a lot of smart casual clothes, this is a type of fragrance that you could dress up or dress down with it still working it’s magic.
Who Is Prada Luna Rossa Ocean For?
Luna Rossa really is a fragrance that can suit almost anyone. It’s a scent that younger guys can wear, while older gentleman will also enjoy this one too.
With it’s lighter, casual and more playful style, it might be suited to most guys aged 18 – 50, with the older gentleman preferring something more mature and classic.
How Long Does Prada Luna Rossa Ocean Last?
I have got great performance from my Luna Rossa Ocean. Despite it being an eau de toilette, it lasts on my skin around 7 hours, and you can still smell it some time after too.
If you decide to wear this on a night out it should last all of the night.
Is Prada Luna Rossa Ocean Strong?
Prada Luna Rossa has really good projection. The bergamot and pink pepper are done really well, and initially it’s very strong, and can be smelt when you enter the room.
As with all scents the longer you wear it the more it fades, but as already mentioned it lasts a nice amount of time.

Longevity – Prada Luna Rossa Ocean lasts quite a while. Despite it being an EDT I was able to get more than 7 hours with this.
Projection – The initial projection is very good, and is powerful. As time goes the scent fades as expected, but overall the projection is strong.

Verdict
Prada Luna Rossa Ocean is a very nice fragrance that hits all the right notes. I really like this style of scent, a blue fragrance which is mass appealing. The positives are the nice smell and the universal appeal.
The only negative someone may have is that it’s not super unique, but that should not take anything away from this fragrance.
Overall I am pleased to own this one, and enjoy wearing it.
