H&M Blank Staples Drop 3 For Autumn 2021 – Brand New Colours Added!

We’re into a new season, Autumn is here and that means getting some warmer clothes. H&M have recently dropped their 3rd collection of Blank Staples, and once again I am excited about it.

There’s some new colours added to the collection, here’s all you need to know.

If you don’t know what the Blank Staples collection is all about, I’ve not only featured it a few times, I’ve also bought a few pieces.

I got myself a cream hoodie along with the lilac hoodie, shorts and T Shirt. There’s no doubt that I love all the pieces, they’re so good.

So, Blank Staples is all about premium basics. That is key pieces of clothing in a high end fabric and seasonal or timeless colours. They take a nod to streetwear with an oversized fit, have the quality of high end brands but it all comes in at a high street price.

Among the collection are sweatshirts, hoodies, joggers, long and short sleeve T Shirts, shorts, socks and even hats. The sweats come in at 460gsm, which is heavyweight for sweatshirts and hoodies.

For Autumn 2021, they have added a few new colours. These are green, navy and a light marl grey. These are alongside some of the other essential and seasonal colours such dark beige, brown, black, steal grey and more.

I am looking to add an extra sweat or two, but the decision is, which one?

I really love this green colour. I have virtually no clothing in this colour, so it would be great to add it. I think the dark green looks really good, and will work well in autumn.

But I also really like the navy blue. It’s more of a pop navy rather than a very dark or toned down one. Once again I really love this colour, so I don’t know which to get.

Both? There’s another issue.

Should I go for the standard sweatshirt, or go for a hoodie?

The popularity of hoodies keeps going up and down. They’re popular and fashionable at one point, and then not another. There’s no doubt I see them as a more casual item of clothing to a standard sweatshirt, so there’s that to consider.

However since these are oversized, the standard sweatshirts will be more casual than smart-casual. Dressing these particular sweatshirts isn’t going to be something I’d likely do, so there’s that to think about.

I also have the lilac and cream hoodie, so could try the sweatshirts in these colours. I am thinking about getting the sweatshirt in navy and a hoodie in green, but I am still undecided.

One thing is for sure, I don’t think I can let this collection go by without picking up at least one piece.

As with the other drops in the Blank Staples collection, the prices are really good. Expensive for H&M standards, but affordable in terms of the quality you get.

T-shirts come in at £12.99, Joggers £24.99, Sweatshirts £24.99 and Hoodies £29.99. There are fine knit hats for the winter too, coming in at £4.99 they seem like they could be a bargain.

What do you think?

There’s no doubt that I’ll be adding something to be Autumn wardrobe for this season. Keep a look out on the blog to find out what I pick up.

All these pieces are available right now at H&M, check them out here.
