October has arrived and we’re well into Autumn now, but the weather is surprisingly fair. I love that, it extends the warmish weather which means I can wear a lot more of my wardrobe from the spring and summer.
So for today I am wearing a really simple but good casual outfit of an oversized shirt and indigo blue jeans.
Here’s what you need to know about it.
When it comes to clothing for autumn, long sleeve shirts are great to wear. Sometimes they need layering, but when the temperature is as good as it is now, there’s no need for that.
Here’s my Autumn outfit for today, an oversized stripe shirt from H&M and my pair of Levi’s 511 Selvedge denim jeans along with white Adidas Stan Smith’s.
Oversized H&M Shirt
This is a shirt which I really love to wear, my H&M Oversized shirt.
The fit is really good, it’s big and comfortable which makes it so easy to wear.
It’s from the H&M Premium Line, which means that it’s the best quality from the brand. Oxford cloth, button down shirt in 100% cotton which feels great to wear.
I love the design, which is a blue and white stripe design. The stripes are quite fine, without being pinstripe.
Levi’s 511 Selvedge Denim Jeans
The jeans I am wearing are my Levi’s 511 Selvedge denim jeans.
As you can imagine, they are top quality with them being made from selvedge denim.
The fit is good too, with the 511 silhouette being a slim fit which is my favourite fit of jeans.
The colour is my favourite too, indigo blue. I think this colour of denim is timeless, and gives off a lot smarter of a look than lighter washes.
Stan Smith Trainers
To complete the outfit I am wearing my all white Stan Smith trainers. There’s not much to say about these which has not already been said.
A low profile, comfortable and effortlessly stylish pair of trainers. They go with just about everything, and the most difficult thing about these is keeping them clean.
And that’s it, my autumn outfit for today.
A really simple outfit that’s easy to put together, a button up shirt with dark denim jeans and a pair of white trainers to finish it off.
