Looking to buy some new trainers, or just want some incredible sneakers to look at? You’re in the right place!

These are the best men’s trainers right now! From the top brands such as Nike and Adidas, these brand new releases are what you want to be wearing in 2021.

With that said, these are the trainers which have caught my eye in May 2021.

It’s a brand new month, so there hasn’t been too many new releases yet. There has been some from Nike and Adidas, and these are the best latest releases you can get right now.

The Best Men’s Trainers: May 2021

Air Max Plus 3

Air Max Plus 3 White And Blue

Some lighter colours for summer style, the Air Max Plus 3 is here. The colourway comes in white with electric aquamarine blue detailing which really sets off these trainers.

An air bubble all around the back with more in the front gives a lot of comfort to wearing the shoe. You can get these for £159.

Air Max 90 Black Blue Red

Air Max 90 Black Blue Red

I love these Air Max 90 trainers, the colourway and style is pretty epic. They come in a black shoe, with red and blue in the upper and midsole. The uppers are made from suede, with tie dye patterns on the red and blue which makes the design really stand out.

They give off quite a toned down appearance despite all of this going on, and you can get them for £130.

Air Jordan 1 Low SE

Nike Air Jordan Low Purple White

I am not the biggest fan of Air Jordans, but the Air Jordan 1 SE look the part in this colourway. The white, purple and black is a really nice combination, and I prefer the low profile over the high tops.

You can get into the Air Jordan club for £100.

Air Max Genome White

Nike Air Max Genome All White

The Air Max Genome are trainers inspired from the early 2000s. Airy mesh style materials are combined with sustainable plastics to give off this brand new look for Nike. For a fresh look, the Genome all white trainers are minimalist and come with the Nike swoosh in a contrasting black colour.

You can get a pair of these for £150.

Nike SB Dunk What The Paul

Nike What The Paul Low Dunks 2021

You might not know the name Paul Rodriguez, but he has 10 trainers to his name, including these brand new distinctive Nike Low Dunks. The obvious taking point about these trainers is the colours.

They’re a mix and match of animal print, solid colours, rainbow and quilted effect resulting in these. Different coloured laces and a three colour outsole finish off these kicks to give a truly unique look.

They come in at £95 if you’re lucky enough to find a pair of the sold out trainers.

Air Max Plus Black Blue

Air Max Plus Black And Black

Nike have released several Air Max Plus trainers this year already, and these can be added to your collection. They’re in a black and blue colourway, with a white midsole and laces for contrasting.

Pick up a pair of these for £145.

Reebok The Pump

Reebok The Pump Trainers Back May 2021

Reebok have brought back their iconic Reebok Pump trainers back from the 90s!

They may have been released back in 1989, but it wasn’t until 1991 when they became iconic, thanks to a Slam Dunk competition. It’s the 30th anniversary, so Reebok have bought back the OG pair of basketball trainers.

If you never heard of or worn these before, they have an active pump on the tongue which you can ‘pump up’, giving you the best fit possible.

They’re on sale in the USA for $140 on 23rd May.

Nike Air Max 90 Laser

Nike Air Max 90 Laser

Nike have come up with the Nike Air Max 90 Laser.

As the name might suggest, they have laser etched uppers, which results in this abstract and cool looking pattern.

The colour is a kind of neutral brown-ish coral like colour, pretty hard to describe, but very muted. The midsole comes in black, with the outsole being a smooth off-white type of colour.

They are available right now while stock lasts at NIKE.com here, and will set you back £169.95

Air Air Force 1 Acorn

Nike Air Force One Acorn

Sticking with a muted colour palette, this is an OG Air Force 1 colourway for May. The Air Force 1 Acorn combines beige, brown, white and a darker brown outsole to give this understated trainer.

On paper the colours don’t sound too appealing, but seeing the shoe you can agree that the colours work pretty well together.

Available now at NIKE.com here, get them for £114.95 right now.

Nike Overbreak Khaki

Nike Overbreak Khaki

For something that looks totally out there, I’ve had to include the Nike Overbreak Khaki.

I first saw these and wasn’t a fan of the design, but I had to include these simply because they’re such a unique design. The midsole and outers look insane, you could say futuristic.

The orange-like khaki colour with the green Nike swoosh are striking, and you’ll probably be the only person wearing these wherever you are, making you stand out from the crowd.

These will be available from 5th May at NIKE.com here, they come in at £124.95.

Nike Air Max 90 Snakeskin Campfire Orange

Nike Air Max 90 Snakeskin Campfire

Yet another striking pair of trainers from Nike, these are the Air Max 90 Snakeskin Orange.

I had to include these just because of the texture, it’s snakeskin. It’s something different, with the red snakeskin on the sides of the trainer, white midsole and orange mesh toecap along with blue swoosh. It’s a combination of colours which kind of work for the summer.

You’ll not need to know that the snakeskin is faux (fake), but still looks the part.

You can get these from various places for £130 right now.

Adidas ZX 8000 x LEGO Yellow

Adidas ZX 8000 x LEGO

Adidas have a collaboration with LEGO, and have come up with these, the LEGO x Adidas ZX 8000.

LEGO is all about different bright coloured blocks, and these trainers come in a range of colours. You can get them in red, black, green, grey, blue and as seen here in yellow. The entire trainer is in this colour, with only the trademark three stripes in white on the side, and the red LEGO logo on the tongue.

There’s LEGO style detailing near the back of the trainer on the side, with a LEGO brick style of detail at the base of the laces.

They come in at £110 per pair, you can check them all out at Adidas here.

Verdict

And there you have it, the best trainers in May 2021 so far. There’s been a lot of colour and weird looking trainers so far, along with some understated and muted options if that’s what you’re into.
