Men’s Hair Products: VO5 Extreme Style Texturizing Gum Review

These days when I talk about products I usually do more in depth reviews or as part of a feature or campaign, but I have to mention one of my favourite daily products which I use, VO5 Texturizing Gum. It’s actually sort of an accident that I even have this; I got it as part of a little set last Christmas from my ASOS Secret Santa, Debz.

Since I started to grow my hair a few years back I have tried and tested a lot of hair products, and I have lots of them, so it took me a while to give this a go, but I am glad I did. As you can see from the pot, it’s almost empty, I have been using it for months now and I’m really enjoying it 🙂

First of the smell…It smells so good! It’s a sort of green-citrus type of scent, and is extremely pleasant. It’s not necessarily the main selling point to a hair product, but I have had a few where they do not smell good and they put you off, most are quite neutral but this one smells really good, and is perfect for the summer 🙂

So what about the actual product?

I find it really good to use, I really like this gum. I have used a gum from another brand and did not really like it. It’s really easy to use, you do not need a lot of it and it’s easy to work into your hair, and leaves it with a nice finish.

It has a good hold for my hair which is short or medium-short when it needs cutting (Check out how often men should get a hair cut), I think that this product would work best on this type of hair, and gives it some texture as it states.
