Ever since I’ve had a blog I have got more and more into photography. It’s something which I really like, and I am constantly learning different things, and experimenting with different shots and settings.
Over the years I’ve got myself a small collection of lenses, as well as some other bits and pieces which I’ve needed for photography. I’ve never had a dedicated and purpose built bag to put them in, but now I have – The Camera Sling Pack from Incase.
Ted Baker have released three men’s fragrances which are inspired by three of the World’s most sought after elements, Copper, Silver and Gold. This is the Tonics Collection, and all three are different, but equally good.
I finally got a pair of Stan Smith’s!
You may remember last year I was talking about getting a pair of white trainers, and I was torn between getting a pair of Adidas Stan Smith’s, or a pair of triple white Air Max. I went for the white Air Max, but for this year I’ve finally got a pair of Stan Smith trainers!
I love my Air Max, there’s no doubt, and I have a ton, probably too many if there’s such a thing. They’re so comfortable, cool and I can walk around in these all day and my feet are absolutely fine, which can’t be said for something like my Converse All Star trainers.

Several weeks ago I was in London when I was showcasing Life splicing for Virgin Trains, and although it was a super quick stop off in London, it was great to have a small look around to stretch my legs and check out the big city.
I love London but don’t go as much as I’d like. Since I was down there anyway I decided to check out the usual tourist spots and just have a look around the city. It was a gloomy January as you can see from the photos, and it’s kind of a different place to when I’ve been either on the weekend or in the Summer.
Happy Pancake Day everyone!
Today is one of my favourite days of the year, it’s pancake day! You can obviously eat them any day of the year, but today’s the day, and I only ever eat them on this day, and since I love them, that makes it pretty special.
It’s what I call fat week, because tomorrow is Valentines Michael Day which is a tradition of eating lots of terrible food and drinks, usually chocolate, champagne truffles and champagne. Both days are usually close together, but I seem to recall that last year shrove Tuesday was near the end of February, and this year it’s pretty early.
This was round 1 of pancakes, which I had for lunch. I always make my own from scratch for lunch, then come supper time (soon!) I will use a premix and eat those too. I can hardly wait for them! They did not come out too great, I’ve definitely made better looking ones, but they tasted so good 😀
As for the topping if you’re a regular reader then you’ll know there’s only one… H.P. Sauce! I know so many people who have their pancakes sweet, I don’t know how people can. Ever since I was a kid I have ate my savoury, and always had H.P. brown sauce with them.

If you’re a stereotypical lad then you’ve probably not got a thing sorted for Valentines Day. You should have your outfit sorted after reading the What To Wear On A Valentines Date, now the clothing is sorted you need something to do.
If you have a date then what do you do? Where do you take her? Should you go for something traditional, cheap, extravagant, adventurous, cute? It could be anything, depending on the type of guy you are and the type of girl she is, and what you’ve already done, like and dislike.
Some of these ideas will depend on where you live and if they’re available in your local area, but well worth exploring to see if you’re able to do these.

So I am rolling back the years and I’ve bought myself a pair an iconic and memorable trainer, a pair of Reebok Classic Trainers! I love 90’s style and had a pair of these back in the day, and I’ve been looking to get myself a pair.
Reebok has been one of the leading names in sportswear for quite a while, back in the 90’s they were big, but as Nike and Adidas grew huge, Reebok seemed to fall away.
Over the past couple of years, there’s been a big resurgence in fashion and 90’s fashion brands, as well as street style going from strength to strength.
We’ve seen Calvin Klein do their 90’s reissue and I bought one of the tees, and Tommy Hilfiger is back too with the Tommy Jeans line. Reebok has come back in a big way, relaunched it’s Classic line and has brand ambassadors like Gigi Hadid and Ariana Grande.
