The Valentino Born In Roma collection is here, and it not only smells incredible, the entire presentation looks incredible too.
This could be one of the best unboxing of a fragrance which I have done, so let’s get to it.
This is the Valentino Born In Roma collection, here’s what it smells like and everything you need to know.
Valentino Born In Roma Unboxing Presentation
I cannot start without talking about the unboxing of the Valentino Born In Roma Collection. The packaging for this box is simply amazing, and really sets the tone for everything you’re going to get from the scent.
The box look very sleek in black, with the trademark pink being used as an accent colour throughout.
The box has the signature V logo to the front, and upon opening you’ll see the six windows which house the Valentino bottles of perfumes and scents that look stunning.
Finally you get on to the bottles of Born In Roma. These are from the Uomo and Donna collections, translating into men’s and women’s collection.
The bottles include the eau de toilette, eau de parfum, parfum and the brand new Extradose which has just been launched in 2025.
The Bottles
As you’d expect to see, the Valentino Born In Roma bottles are in-keeping with the brand’s signature style, the iconic Valentino rockstud which gives these that familiar look.
The Uomo coming in the edgy pyramidal design, with Donna in a square based shape.
The design is sleek, with minimal branding sporting the Valentino wording to the front, and dark translucent glass which sets the mood.
The Scents
The Born In Roma collection of fragrances smell fantastic.
When it comes to Extradose, Donna has an intense aroma with cassis rhum and vanilla. Uomo has vetiver and lavender, giving it a real seductive nature to the smell.
Uomo eau de toilette is a woody aromatic scent with vetiver, violet leaf and sage, it gives off a mineral and fresh style whilst still remaining slightly woody and aromatic.
Uomo Intense brings lavender and vanilla creating an ambery fougere, giving it a really sweet sense to it.
When it comes to Donna, the eau de parfum has cashmere and vanilla which gives it an ambery floral style to it.
Donna Intense has the sweet vanilla alongside the luminous jasmine, giving it a seductive allure and a floral style vibe.
All of the fragrances from the Valentino Born In Roma collection have that intoxicating and bold smell. They smell sensual and give off an inviting aroma that exudes confidence.
I am looking forward to exploring each of these fragrances in more detail, and will showcase these on the fragrance blog in upcoming features.
The entire Valentino Born In Roma collection is available at Selfridges right now.
