Jockey is launching it’s NOS collection, and have teamed up with legendary photographer James Dimmock to produce some iconic shots for their brand new collection. They have sent over some pieces which includes a pair of boxer shorts, swim shorts and loungewear.
Schwartzkopf Professional sent over some products from their 3D MEN care range, which includes hair and body shampoo, deep cleansing shampoo, molding wax and texture clay. The range has been completely engineered for men, and has three core principles for each of the products.
The hair and body shampoo is a dual purpose care product, and is designed for both hair and body, with a pH balance which works for both. The deep cleansing shampoo gives you totally clean hair in 15 seconds, and will cleanse away product build-up and traces of oil.
The core principles of the shampoo are hair, scalp and roots. With caffeine stimulants for roots, hydrating ingredients for the scalp and sclera protein to rebuild hair structure. Both shampoos have a really nice smell, and come in 250ml bottles which run at around £10.20 each.
The styling products include molding wax and texture clay. Both are soft compounds which are easy to work into the hair, and once again come with three core principles which are hold, texture and definition. The molding wax gives off a natural shine finish and is a slightly lighter cream.
The textured clay produces a matt finish, and has a stronger hold, creating dishevelled looks. Each pot is 100ml in size and comes in at around £10.20.
The complete Schwartzkopf Professional 3D MEN range is available from Schwartzkopf Professional partner salons.
You’ve made the leap to a DSLR camera from a compact, you’ve had a lot of fun taking great photos with the kit lens you got with the camera, but where do you go from here?
What lens should you buy? If these are the questions you’re asking yourself, hopefully I can give you some advice from my experiences 🙂
So yesterday we went out, had a few games of bowling, pool and then ended up going for a few drinks in the town. I never go bowling, you can count how many times I’ve been bowling in my adult life on one hand We got 2 games & 2 drinks for £10, you can’t really argue with that! I have a great technique which is the “minimal looking effort” technique…No run up at all, just bowl the ball as accurate as I can. It sort of works, and in the first game on the very first ball I got a strike! That’s why I took this photo, it did not get much better. The 2nd game we had a few more people, and I wasn’t last, which was pretty surprising. (I am “X”, my friend entered my name as Xavi since I love Spain so much 😉 )
When we went to the town we played some pool first which is more my game, then had a few drinks at a couple of bars. We went to Harry’s, Browns, Revolution and Metropolis, and ended up in Cosy Joes which is bizarrely where we’ve been a few times now as a last bar. There was no plan to stay out, but once we get to the town we inevitably end up staying out 😛
I got a few things from Jaeger in store a couple of weeks back, and I saw a few items online which were not in the shop, so ordered them and here they are 🙂
First up I have to talk about the T Shirt I got. I have been looking for nautical striped T-shirts and horizontal striped tees, I got an H&M one in white with dark stripes, so I wanted to flip the colours and get a navy one with white stripes. After looking around for quite a while, I couldn’t really find a one I loved, and then I found one that happened to be in the Jaeger sale! It’s really good quality as you’d expect, soft and rich cotton.
Next up is my white shirt, which I have already featured in an outfit post, that’s how much I like it. Once again the quality is on point, and it’s a timeless colour, you can never had too many white shirts.
To end the round up last and definitely not least is my suit jacket. It’s 100% woven wool, made in Britain, part of the Mayfair line. Sadly I could not get the matching trousers in my size, but since this is black, it’s not going to be difficult to find a pair of trousers. The lining is black with tonal black Jaeger print, in their new style logo. I am really happy with the fit, and along with everything else it’s top quality and feels premium.
Ferrari have released three different brand new fragrances this year, all being unisex style scents. They mark a brand new chapter for Ferrari in fragrances, and are called the Ferrari essence collection. This is Noble Fig, which is the green citrus type of the three.
Marks and Spencer recently got in touch with a styling challenge. I was tasked to come up with a style post featuring one of their suits, and showcase how I would wear the tailoring.
I decided to focus my style on the summer, since we’re right into the season, and selected a grey colour suit.
The suit itself is a pair of grey trousers complete with the jacket in a slim fit style.
I prefer this kind of fit because it’s more modern than the more traditional regular fit, but still gives you plenty of room for manoeuvre.
One of the biggest highlights of the NE1 Motor Show has to be that there was the Red Bull F1 car to be seen, and it looked so good. The only previous time I have seen an F1 car this close was in the Ferrari store in London; They were not welcoming, had horrible security and stopped anyone taking photos. However Red Bull are amazing and nice! You could get up close to the car and take photos too which is what part of the experience is all about. There were other racing cars there too, from Aston Martin and Lotus.

One of the highlights of the NE1 Motor Show has got to have been the sports cars and super cars. They were out in force, with some of the best manufacturers and the best models being shown. I saw everything from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Porsche and Mercedes; With models such as the Aventador, SLS and Vanquish being there. You don’t need to here it from me, here’s all the pics 😉
