Hey guys! I hope you are well and had a good weekend. I have had a nightmare with my computer, so haven’t been able to write very much on the blog.
A few weeks ago I was out in Corbridge and didn’t share the outfit, so here’s what I wore on the summer’s day: A navy shirt, white jeans and brown shoes.
How hot has this week been in the UK!? It’s been fairly warm through the days, and on a night…We all hate the hot and sticky nights, right? π I bought myself a handheld fan, but a one with a difference, it has a mist spray!
So we’re right in the middle of the summer, and you’ve probably already read my best men’s summer fragrances post, which lists the scents you can wear this season which are all really top colognes. But what if you want something that little bit different? What about something sweet, or floral?
Well, I’ve put together this list, the best sweet and floral fragrances for men. They work best in the summer, and they’re the scents which are just that little bit different. Most men’s fragrances have that bit of manly, masculinity to them, which I do like. But I also like something a little different, which is where these scents come in.
All the scents in this list are either fruity, sweet, floral or fresh…In some cases, some will have more than one note. Some are a bit marmite, you’ll either love them or hate them. The good thing about these kinds of scents is that not a lot of guys wear them, so you’ll stand out and be unique.
Here’s the best sweet and floral fragrances for men you can wear this summer.
So in recent times in my fashion Friday round-ups, I’ve featured a few different packs of H&M Slim Fit T Shirts which they are selling. They’ve been around for a while, and I’ve always wondered what the fit would be like, so I’ve went out and bought some to see what I think.
For my latest film night, I watched to watch something which I hadn’t seen, so I done my usual browse around Amazon Prime to find something. I wanted something like, and saw something called Summer of 8. I checked out the trailer, and it looked like it could be good.
I love coming of age films, I love the Summer, and this is basically both of those two things put together.
I’ve already told you about my Summer of 2006, and how my Lacoste Cool Blue takes me right back there. It was a great Summer, and the next year I had another good one, and with that came a new scent. once again from Lacoste, this was Lacoste Elegance.
So it was the Summer of 2007, and I needed a new fragrance. I already owned a few, bought some more, but for one reason or another, I took my bottle of Lacoste Elegance with me on holiday. I think I took another bottle, but this is the one which I remember the most. I went to Bulgaria in the Summer, and this was a great fragrance for the nights.
Hey guys, I hope you’ve had a good weekend so far!
For my latest film night, I wanted to watch something light and funny, but after looking around Amazon Prime, I couldn’t find something which I liked and wanted to watch, which I hadn’t seen before. I haven’t bought any Blu Rays/DVDs for ages, so looked to see what I had. I found The Goods: Live Hard Sell Hard which I haven’t seen in so long, so decided to watch that.
It’s a pair of trainers which I featured on the blog months ago, I loved them, and thought about getting them for months…Now I have finally got them, the Nike Air Max2 Light QS Atmos, and here they are.
I never get too excited by trainers these days, but I have to say, I really love some of the Air Max which Nike have been doing in recent years. Earlier in the year these super colourful trainers were seen, it was a collaboration with Japanese brand Atmos, and I loved them. I featured a preview of the Air Max 2 Atmos on the blog, and really thought about getting them as soon as they were released.
I didn’t get them immediately, but I have now, and here’s why…
First of all I have to say happy July. I can’t believe that June is over, and we’re supposed to be well into the Summer now, but other than last week, the weather hasn’t shown it.
Hopefully it will only get better, and we have more T-shirt days, since I’ve bought quite a few T Shirts lately π
Have you bought anything in the sales?
They’re always on around my birthday which is both good and bad; It means that if I ever buy anything before my birthday it’s usually more expensive than after it π This year the summer sale seemed to start early, and a couple of days ago I got myself a couple of Pima cotton T Shirts from NN07.
When I think of bucket hats I think of the 90s, and the iconic figures wearing the bucket hats. I can’t remember owning one although I may have done, but I was never much of a fan. It’s been almost 20 years since the 90s, but this trend which was hot in the mid-late 90s now seems to be back.
It was a trend in the 90s which was adopted from people of all fashion worlds; From the Brit Pop rockers like Liam Gallagher to the world of Hip Hop culture, embraced by people like LL Cool J, and as seen on A listers with style such as Samuel L Jackson with the infamous Kangol bucket hats.
So if you’re looking for a 90’s trend and need some headwear, the bucket hat is the way to go. They’re back, with some great options available.
Here’s the best bucket hats you can buy this summer.
