For the Autumn/Winter 16 collection, Ted Baker has brought Mission Impeccable, a story based on T.E.D special agents who are brought together to prevent “The Needle” from selling the fabrics he’s stolen and turned into his own twisted creations to the highest bidder.
The story is brought to life in a film which has been directed by Crown & Owels with executive director Guy Ritchie, which is a shoppable experience on the Tedbaker.com website.
Ted Baker has asked me to come up with the ideal outfit for this season, with the pieces from the brand new AW 16 collection from the Mission Impeccable film, which comprises of over 130 pieces ranging from footwear and accessories to smart tailoring and seasonal knits.
Marks And Spencer have introduced a line of premium selvedge denim jeans to their fashion line up for this season. If you’ve read my 5 pairs of denim you should own guide, you’ll know that I love selvedge denim, and it’s a type of denim which is quite coveted, and popular among denim connoisseurs.
The range is new for AW16 and is made from premium fabrics from mills in United States, Japan and Italy, all three noted for their high quality fabrics and workmanship.
The range come in a couple of washes, including a light mid-blue wash, and my two favourites, dark indigo and black, as well as two fits; Slim and straight leg.
Or maybe you’re already a student at Uni, but want to upgrade your outfits?
Going to University can be expensive, but fortunately your style does not have to be. You can get some really great basic and staple pieces ready to wear at university, even if you’re on a budget.
From going to lectures to roaming around campus and nights out, there’s plenty of clothes you can wear without spending a fortune.
Here I’ll go through some basic fashion essentials for guys which you should be buying and wearing at uni or college.
After Reebok brought back it’s classic and much love Classics collection from the 90’s, they brought back a special pastel edition of the C85 trainers, and now comes the Club C 85 Vintage suede trainers, complete with the gum sole.
Isn’t the saying blue and green should never be seen?
This is one of my favourite casual shirts, it’s from Mango MAN. I wore this with a white tee a couple of weeks ago and I think it’s a really good combination.
Autumn is here but it’s actually been really nice weather which is always odd…Every year we seem to have really great Septembers, but the actual Summer months of August and July always seem underwhelming, right?
I love Autumn fashion and style, as well as Autumn knits I think that layering up some check shirts is a really cool style, and works just as well in early Autumn as it does in Spring. I wore this shirt with a Derek Rose premium white T-shirt, one of my favourite white tees.
I’ve featured this is my basic T-shirt guide which I written about a while ago and collaborated with the best premium basic companies, and this one is definitely one of my favourites. You can’t really see the jeans, but they’re black soft denim from Armani Jeans.
I am a little familiar with Trussardi, and I’ve had the original Trussardi Uomo for men for a couple of years, and really like it. The new fragrance, which is called The Red, brings similar Italian style with more added spice.
As you all know, I am from Newcastle and think that it’s a pretty cool city as far as the UK goes. Sure, it’s not London, but what city is! I’ve read from other bloggers that having a blog up here, or even anywhere which is outside of London can make you feel a bit on the outside, because everything is so London-centric.
A white shirt is a staple in any man’s wardrobe, no matter what the season or occasion, so when Tophat London got in touch to let me feature one from their range, I had to have a look.
Tophat London is an independent British brand on a mission to produce high quality shirting without the high price of other premium clothing labels.
They are calling their first collection the weekday wardrobe, and contains five brilliant white shirts all with their own unique styling. Regular readers of my blog will know that I love small details, and the shirts within the collection come with exactly that.
They come with collar and cuff detailing, all with their own unique and individual pattern and colours, which really add something to the shirt, keeping them classic but giving each one from the collection some individuality. The patterns from the shirts also have matching pocket squares to compliment the shirt, and are made from 100% silk.
I really love the Chaplin shirt, and that is the one I’ve got. First off I have to talk about the packaging because I really like it. The first impressions are always important, and the shirt comes in a branded box, and within that is a soft velvet shirt bag which is a really nice touch, and is in keeping with the ideal of luxury shirting.
As mentioned, the detailing of the collar and cuffs is what really makes the shirt stand out. The navy swirl pattern comes with a contrasting lighter blue, and if you look very closely you’ll see red dots which are used within the pattern.
The blue colour is also used in the threads around the branded buttons, giving the shirt some attractive accents. It’s a slim fit which I prefer, and fits well. The fabric is 100% cotton twill and is 2-ply with 100s thread count which gives it it’s soft feel. When wearing the shirt you can really notice the difference in the thickness of the cotton in comparison to a standard cotton shirt.
The shirts come in at £65 each, and you can check out Tophat London shirts on their site

I finally got a new laptop, and it’s the Dell XPS 13 2016 edition!
You’ll have seen the Dell XPS 13 laptop on my blog before, and if you follow me you’ll know how much I like this laptop, and how highly I rate it. I have actually had this for a couple of months now, but just got round to writing about it, I’ve been too busy using it!
Craft beers have become a big thing over the past several years, in fact I read that starting a microbrewery was one of the biggest start-ups for beer loving entrepreneurs a couple of years ago. However you don’t need to worry about the business behind the ale to enjoy it.
Whether you’re new to Craft Beers or an enthusiast, Morrisons have a great range for you to try out. Morrisons kindly sent some over for me to try, including some of their Summer favourites.
