A fragrance which costs £3.50…Surely this is going to be terrible, right?
Primark have released a few men’s fragrances, and I’ve just got one of their men’s aftershaves, Black Opulence.
But what does a £3.50 aftershave actually smell like?

So it was time for another film night, and I saw that Loving Pablo had been added to Amazon Video, so I decided to give it a watch.
It’s a film about the story of Pablo Escobar, told mostly in the point of view from Virginia Vallejo, a girlfriend of Pablo and famous journalist in Colombia. I have seen Narcos, the Netflix documentary series about the same story, which obviously had more detail since it’s spread over seasons and many shows, rather than this which is a 2 hour film.
I love to run, but in the Winter, it’s really cold!
It can be a reason not to bother, but if you like to keep fit, or it’s something you enjoy, the cold weather doesn’t need to stop you.
Something you need to think about is what to wear running in the cold. Getting your gear right is key, and will ensure that the weather is the last thing you’re thinking about.
Picking out the right clothing can be a task. You need to stay warm, but also you’ll be running, so you’ll heat up in no time.
Here’s what I usually wear for when I go on a run in the Winter.

Can you believe it’s February already? I certainly can’t. It seemed like only the other day we were celebrating Christmas, then New Year, and the start of 2019, and now we’re already one month down. Pretty crazy stuff.
If you’ve put the weather on TV you’ll know we’re definitely in the Winter right now, with record lows in the USA, and the cold and snowy weather has been making it’s presence felt here in Newcastle and the rest of the UK too.
It’s time for another good old scent review! This week I am looking back at 212 VIP Men from Carolina Herrera.
I bought this on the back of 212 SEXY MEN as well as 212 MEN, two previous fragrances from Carolina Herrera. SEXY MEN is my favourite out of the two, it’s more spicy and woody, and I prefer these types of seductive scents. On the back of both of these, I got 212 VIP when it was released, back in 2011.
When you’re off on a night out and you’re looking in your wardrobe for something to wear, what do you reach for? The going out shirt!
The way to do this was to look your best, and we always had that one item which we wore when we wanted to look, and perhaps even more importantly feel like a boss. This was affectionately known as the going out shirt.
H&M are back with a new collaboration for 2019, working together with Swedish cult brand Eytys. A brand all about it’s chunky shoes and unisex silhouettes, there’s some really nice pieces within the collection which will be adored by fashionistas and general clothing lovers alike.
A lot of the time football and fashion does not mix well, but when a lot of people start talking about it, you know that it’s going to be good. Nike released a brand new AIK Black edition shirt, with an all black design. The shirt comes black on black, with the Nike swoosh, badge and special 1891 logo to the front of the shirt, all done in a tonal black look.

I have found some stock of Dolce and Gabbana The One Gentleman, it’s back from the dead!
So as you’ll know, Gucci Envy for men is discontinued, and has been for some time, and it’s my favourite all time men’s fragrance. I needed a replacement, and bought a bottle of Floris Santal which I also love, and it does smell very similar. Another similar scent is D&G The One Gentleman, which I owned, but was running low, so bought a large bottle of it.
After getting that bottle, D&G then decided to discontinue that scent too! So, I decided that I wouldn’t open it, since I’d never be able to replace it, and I loved my Floris Santal which I use quite regularly.
But I was browsing around the other day, and I found a shop which for some reason unknown to me, managed to get hold of some stock. They were selling 100ml bottles for only £25, a real bargain for any nice scent, so I got a couple of bottles before it went out of stock and is gone forever.
It’s not too unusual for shops to get stock of discontinued bottles, it has happened before with other scents, but it’s kind of rare. Since it was from a reputable fragrance shop I knew that it would be genuine, and someone, somewhere probably had a lot of fragrances they couldn’t get rid of, maybe even the company themselves, so sold them off.
Whatever the reason, I am happy that I was able to get a bottle, and it does smell really nice. It’s not as good as Gucci Envy for Men or Floris Santal, but it’s the same style and vibe as those two fragrances, and if you’ve smelled it you’ll definitely notice the similarities of the three.
Now that I have 300ml of D&G The One Gentleman (3x 100ml) I can open one of them up! This is a ridiculous and crazy volume of cologne and I’ll probably never run out for the rest of my life, so I am not worried about that any more.
