I love Creed Aventus, but are there any alternatives? The answer is of course there is!
I love all of my fragrances, and if you ask me, it’s not about what is best, but it’s about picking out the right scent for the right moment or occasion.
You don’t need to be big into fragrances to know that for guys, Creed Aventus is one of the most coveted bottles of aftershave a man can buy. It’s one of my favourite scents, but since it’s also a favourite of many others, many giving it the title the king of fragrances.
What kind of idiot would blind buy a fragrance which was released 15 years ago, in 2004? Yep, that would be me! 😀 I have got myself Style In Play from Lacoste, and if you’re looking at the pictures, you’ll notice there’s two bottles. There’s a story why.
As you’ll know from my blog, I am no stranger to Bulldog Skincare products, and have used a couple of them in my grooming regime. I’ve had one of their shaving sets ready for me to use for a while, since Christmas in fact! I’ve been using other products before, but finally, I’ve had a chance to test the Bulldog razor and shaving products, so here’s what I thought.
I was looking through some of my old fragrances and I came across this, Lacoste Cool Play. This bottle of eau de toilette basically sums up why I like fragrances, what got me into them, and separates us who love scents from those who just wear them. Some are just bottles of nice smelling water, while others have a story. This one comes with a story.
I’ve had this bottle of Lynx spray since Christmas, which is no surprise, since it seems like so many people get or receive their annual bottle of Lynx. This is Lynx Urban Tobacco & Amber, but is this a new generation of Lynx?
This is not a deodorant or antiperspirant, or your regular body spray, or at least, it’s not billed as such. This is what Lynx are calling a daily fragrance. So what’s it all about?
If there’s one thing which I love, it’s to try out new products and see how they stack up against the products which I currently use, and in some cases, have been using for years. This is especially true when it comes to hair styling products, so when I had the chance to take a look at the Structure by JOICO I had to see what they were all about.
We’re back for another classic fragrance review, and this time round I am looking at L’Homme Libre from Yves Saint Laurent. I’ve had this one since it’s year of release, 2011, and can’t believe I’ve never gave it a proper feature, because it is quite a nice scent, especially for this time of year.
So this is a bit of a remix from the YSL Homme original scent, something which I’ve never bought or tested, so I sadly can’t compare it. I got this the same time as YSL La Nuit L’Homme which is a scent for the evenings, whereas this is best for day.
It’s time for another good old scent review! This week I am looking back at 212 VIP Men from Carolina Herrera.
I bought this on the back of 212 SEXY MEN as well as 212 MEN, two previous fragrances from Carolina Herrera. SEXY MEN is my favourite out of the two, it’s more spicy and woody, and I prefer these types of seductive scents. On the back of both of these, I got 212 VIP when it was released, back in 2011.
