So for my latest film night I was running short on time and it was quite late, so couldn’t watch something with a long run time. I didn’t know what kind of film I was in the mood for, but I do love documentary-style films, and came across Soul Boys of the Western World, the Spandau Ballet film.

I am not a Spandau Ballet fan, their music and their time was well before mine, but I do know their songs, like everyone else in the world. They were big, huge in this country, and it all ended as it usually does with groups or bands.

Playstation Classic Announced! My 20 Games Wishlist

Yesterday morning I went on to Twitter and saw PlayStation was trending, and it was something which I didn’t expect, Sony announced a new retro console, the PlayStation Classic!

It will come with 20 games, the list has not been released, only a few of the games have been officially announced – They will be Ridge Racer 4, Final Fantasy 7, Jumping Flash, Tekken 3 and Wild Arms.

Earlier today Apple announced their latest lineup of next generation smart phones; the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. As with all things Apple, it’s drawn a lot of comments, criticism, and hype around the 2018 range of iPhones.

I was having a browse around at what films to watch, and I came across The Boat That Rocked. It’s not a new film and was released in 2009 but I hadn’t seen it before, and the title can be a bit misleading because it could literally be about anything.

It’s written and directed by Richard Curtis and stars Bill Nighy among others, and is a comedy style film set in the 1960’s and is based on a true story surrounding pirate radio.
