Some people love them, and others think they have no place in a man’s wardrobe. I am talking about a good pair of black chinos.
Chinos are a more casual form of trousers, and the good thing about them is that you can get a huge array of chinos in different colours. Therefore wearing a black pair might not be desirable, some even suggesting that you shouldn’t own a pair.
Depending on what you wear with black chinos, they could have a point. There’s plenty that suggest that pairing black chinos with a white shirt will make you look like a waiter or schoolboy, and I can see where that comes from.
However I like black chinos, and there’s plenty of clothes you can wear with them to make sure you look the part.

As you should know by now if there’s one trend in fashion I have liked over the past 5 or 6 years it’s been the re-birth of the 90’s trend. One of the brands at the centre of that has been Calvin Klein, and they’re at it again with their CK One Capsule Collection.
It’s that time of year again, it’s another H&M guest designer collaboration. This year sees the Swedish brand team up with designer Giambattista Valli for a collab this Autumn.

Are you looking to keep warm when the temperature drops?
A sweatshirt is a brilliant option.
Unlike it’s much more gentlemanly friend, jumpers, sweatshirts are an incredibly versatile option to wear – Right down from the most relaxed and laid back situations, right up to layering for a smart casual look which will really look the part.
So whether you’re looking to kick back and relax on a lazy Sunday afternoon, looking for something to wear to work, or you’re going out with the boys on a Friday night, a sweatshirt is something which is going to fit the bill in these situations, and a whole lot more.
It’s been getting more and more popular in recent times, and now one of the trends for a lot of guys, I’m finally going to talk about the men’s co-ords trend.
It is of course nothing brand new, I’ve featured myself wearing some menswear which are part of a twin set as far back as a couple of years ago, and it had a fashionable entrance to a lot of guy’s wardrobes before then.
It kind of comes from the women’s side of fashion, with the likes of women’s two pieces, playsuits and their own co-ords being quite a norm. Now more and more guys are wearing coords, some looking good, others not.
Last week one of my favourite denim brands, Nudie Jeans, released a new capsule collection they are calling colors (sadly not colours like it should be! 😉 ). It’s a small collection which really caught my eye, so I decided to feature the 8 piece mini collection, which has a couple of great items.
What’s it all about?
Well Nudie Jeans say, “While browsing the archives of early Nudie Jeans gems we simultaneously had an eye on the vivid history of sportswear. The dual vision spawned a perfect sharp image which came to be the Colors collection.”
What the collection has, is 8 pieces of menswear, which includes a couple of pairs of jeans, a bucket hat, a couple of tees, a button up shirt, pair of socks and a hoodie. As you can imagine with the name, it’s has some items which are a combination of being infused with a little bit of colour, or just incorporate colour within their entire design.
I love to run, but in the Winter, it’s really cold!
It can be a reason not to bother, but if you like to keep fit, or it’s something you enjoy, the cold weather doesn’t need to stop you.
Something you need to think about is what to wear running in the cold. Getting your gear right is key, and will ensure that the weather is the last thing you’re thinking about.
Picking out the right clothing can be a task. You need to stay warm, but also you’ll be running, so you’ll heat up in no time.

Have you ever thought about wearing a denim jacket in the Autumn or Winter?
For me, this is a big no-no. I have always considered the denim jacket a Summer item, or transitioning from Spring to Summer. Jean jackets are lightweight, and great for throwing over a tee in the Summer.
