H&M Autumn Collection 2019 - Michael 84 Edit

We’re well into the Autumn right now, and all of the brands and shops have their collections ready for you to check out. H&M’s Autumn collection for 2019 is online, and there’s several pieces which I really like from it.

From knits to smart blazers, coats and even PJs, there’s basically everything you need for this season.

So here’s my favourite few pieces from what H&M has to offer this Autumn.

Wool Blend Pea Coat – £79.99

H&M Wool Peacoat

First off I have to mention this coat, it’s the one piece which drew me into the collection. If you’re looking to add to your Autumn wardrobe, this pea coat is something which will make you stand out. It’s a wool blend, and is navy in colour, however I think that camel is also available.

If you want a smarter winter coat and you want it to be a shorter length than something like an overcoat, a pea coat is definitely worth considering. It’s from the conscious line, and is partly made from recycled materials.

Merino Wool Cardigan – £39.99

Merino Wool Cardigan

Perfect for light layering, this merino cardigan comes in a few modest colours, and I’ve picked it out in dark grey. I love this colour, and I love cardigans too. It will be able to be mixed and matched up with most things you’ll already have in your wardrobe.

Team it up with a plain tee or shirt, and it will give you a smart casual Autumn look.

Merino Wool V-Neck Jumper – £34.99

Merino V-Neck Wool Jumper

If you prefer a jumper over a cardigan, there’s also this V-Neck jumper which you can get. It comes in a larger number of colours, but I’ve picked out navy as this is a staple colour which you can wear with anything.

When choosing a V-neck you’ll be layering up with something under, so it’s always a good idea to keep things simple when it comes to the colours. If you’re looking for jumpers and knitwear, a V-neck is a good choice.

Wear it with a plain shirt underneath for a smart layered look for Autumn.

Skinny Fit Check Blazer Jacket – £69.99

H&M Navy Check Jacket

When I saw this jacket the first thing which I thought of is, this would look epic at your Christmas office party. It’s a very dark jacket with a check pattern, but it’s really toned down, and looks really sleek. If you want to make an impact, this jacket is going to do just that.

The pattern is really dark and elegant, so it’s something which will set you apart from others, who will probably opt for a solid colour jacket.

You can wear this as a full suit, with the matching trousers being available too. Or just wear it on it’s own, with a smart pair of dark denim.

Pyjama Set With Hoodie Top – £19.99

Navy Pyjama Set H&M

Do with still call them Pyjamas when we’re old? I prefer the term loungewear. Either way, this set from H&M is a nice grown up pair of PJs which you can look cool wearing. They’re plain and simple, navy in colour and made from 100% cotton.

The top comes with a hood, so you can lounge around and chill in these and you’ll be comfortable.

Wool Blend Camel Overcoat – £79.99

H&M Wool Blend Overcoat In Camel

I couldn’t not include this coat from H&M, since it’s a style I really like, and own. It’s a camel coat, and is great for this season. As you know, I love overcoats for the Autumn and Winter, they’re something I’ve really liked for the past couple of years.

If you want to get in on the style, this one comes in at a reasonable price at just under £80, and is made from a wool mix. It’s from the conscious line, which means it’s partly made from recycled materials.

You can layer this with a few of the pieces mentioned above, and it will look smart while keeping you warm too.

And that’s it! The Michael 84 edit of what H&M has in store this Autumn. Six pieces which you can incorporate into your daily outfits really easily. If you’re looking to add to your Autumn wardrobe, or just fancy picking up a bit of menswear, these pieces are some good items to buy.
