This year has gone over so fast, but Christmas is almost here. Every year there’s a designated ‘Christmas Jumper Day’, and the 11th December is that day this year.
I’ve been wearing football shirts quite a bit lately, but today is a special day. Since it’s officially Football Shirt Friday 2020, I thought I would mark it with a special shirt.
It’s my Newcastle United Away shirt from 1996-97.
This isn’t a new shirt, it’s not a reproduction. It’s my actual shirt I wore in 1996. It still fits!
It’s been that time of the year again, it’s Christmas which means a few things, and in Newcastle it means the Fenwick Christmas Window.
Fenwick Window for 2020 is Wind And The Willows.
It’s a year that’s been strange, but there’s one thing that 2020 cannot take away, that’s Fenwick Christmas Window. It’s a Newcastle tradition, and it’s still here.
I got myself a couple of football shirts that are brilliant!
First up I have to talk about this Barcelona goalkeeper shirt. I saw this a while back and loved it. I found a great deal on it, so I went and bought it.
I got Apple TV+ a few months back when I bought my new iPhone SE. It’s a nice little bonus that Apple has given us, to watch their new subscription TV service which is £4.99 in the UK.
A few months has past, and I’ve watched a few things on there.
Here’s what I think of Apple TV+ and if I think it’s worth it.
I’ve been waiting for Adult Material on Channel 4 since I saw the previews several weeks ago. It was on TV last Monday, and it was a really good watch.
I cannot believe that it has been 10 years since Spain won the World Cup!
If you didn’t already know, I am a Spain supporter, and have been since I was a kid. The pinnacle in the football world is winning the World Cup, and finally, on 11th July 2010, Spain won their first World Cup!
It’s been a while since I posted a life type of update, possibly because not a lot has been going on for any of us!
Lockdown has been a strange time, and I think life after lockdown it is going to feel weird. I have been living in the lock down for around 13 weeks, but this week I have started to gradually to come out of it, and trying to get back to some normality.
Balls…Footballs. Once they were just round piece of equipment which were absolutely required to play a game of football. But for the past several decades, they’ve became a lot more.
I have always loved the World Cup, and the balls have played a bigger and bigger part in that. I thought it was about time I done a visual guide on all of the balls, and the stories behind them, both in historic terms and my own memories with them.
This is every World Cup football match ball from 1930 to 2018, and some stories behind them.
