H&M are back with a new collaboration for 2019, working together with Swedish cult brand Eytys. A brand all about it’s chunky shoes and unisex silhouettes, there’s some really nice pieces within the collection which will be adored by fashionistas and general clothing lovers alike.
The brand was founded by Max Schiller and Jonathan Hirschfeld, born in the 80’s and growing up in the 90’s, it’s easy to see those years have proved to be inspirational in the style of the clothing. “Unisex design is in our DNA, we do it without thinking“, said Max Schiller.
I have picked out a few items which I think are stand out and great pieces which should definitely be on your list if you’re looking for something fresh with a retro vibe.
Wide Jeans £39.99
When I saw these jeans I loved them. I think that fashion trends are going towards more looser fits for this year, something which this capsule collection has a great deal of. Usually I like a slim fit jean, but these wide jeans are incredibly clean and work well with pairing with the right pieces. They are dark denim, in an unwashed style.
T Shirt – £17.99
A shorter length T Shirt in a baggy loose fit and drop shoulders. This tee also comes in black, but I really do like this yellow colour which will add some colour into any outfit. The cotton blend comes with a discreet logo to the sleeve.
Snake Canvas Trainers – £39.99
Trainers with a chunky sole is one of the trademark’s of Eytys, and since Snakeskin pattern has been a fashion trend for several months now, I decided to include this colour option in my edit. The shoe also comes in a black, green or beige variant, along with the customary purple loop tab at the back.
Snakeskin Windbreaker £49.99 & Shirt £34.99
If you’re really looking to make a statement, the snakeskin windbreaker and shirt are two items which are going to do just that. The Windbreaker is made from polyester and comes with a hood and drawstring for pocket ability at the back. The shirt can be worn open or buttoned up, is made of cotton and comes complete with a front chest pocket.
Green Cotton Sweatshirt – £24.99
An oversized sweatshirt is a super cosy piece for the cold weather, and for a casual look, this one works well. Drop shoulders, wide sleeves and slightly shorter in style, it comes in a deep green colour which will work this Winter going into Spring.
Utopia T Shirt – £17.99
A plain white tee with the Utopia text and graphics printed to the front. It comes with the slogan “This must be the place” printed to the back. The tee comes in an oversized fit, with drop shoulders and a slightly shorter length.
Wide Chinos – £39.99
Like the denim jeans above, the wide chinos with creases come in a beige colour in a cotton blend. Details include a coin pocket, welt back pocket, D-ring along with a Zip fly with logo to the front.
