H&M Edition For Autumn 2017

Fashion, Mens Fashion Collections
Monday, 11th September, 2017

H&M have released their edition line for Autumn 2017, and they have some great pieces for this season. Whether you’re looking to refresh your current wardrobe or you need to start a brand new Autumn line up for a new look, there’s plenty on offer. You’ll probably know H&M for it’s basics line with cheap and inexpensive clothing, but they do have premium offerings, and their latest line is called Edition, which made an appearance last season too.

I have found some really nice looking pieces from the collection, these classic pieces are higher quality than the main H&M line, and are perfect when you want to create an outfit. The good thing about the basics is you can select a few pieces and make up a large number of different outfits, with neutral colour palettes and staple wears it’s easy to style these.

Want to see the best picks from the collection? Check them out below.

Cashmere Jumper

The cashmere jumper is a must have item for Autumn/Winter, but you knew that from reading my men’s jumper guide. A cashmere jumper is a luxury item, and you’ll feel like luxury wearing one. They’re so soft, and although they are expensive, cashmere is worth it in my opinion. These are 100% cashmere, and at £79.99 that’s quite a good price. I bought a cashmere knit from previous H&M seasons and I am happy with the quality. This season you can get one in timeless black, grey, or if you want a pop of colour, bright blue.

Silk Blend Sweatshirt

One of my favourite pieces is this silk-blend sweatshirt. I just love the colour, and I have a new found passion for sweatshirts, I recently got the Adidas Original sweatshirt as you know. It comes in at £39.99 and is available in a light grey marl which looks really nice too. Sweatshirts are so easy to wear, and you can pair this up with virtually anything.

Suede Jacket

I love the Suede Jacket trend, I think they’re really nice and the only problem with them for our Winter is that we get a lot of rain, the natural enemy of suede. We do have weather apps which we all check religiously these days, so know if we’re in trouble with the weather or not (although they aren’t very accurate most of the time!) so can work out if we can brave a suede jacket. You can pick this up in black for £229.99 if you’re on the hunt for a suede jacket.

Pima Cotton T Shirt

You can’t have too many T-shirts, and if you want to add a fresh tee to your everyday style there’s no better than a pima cotton tee. H&M have a range of Pima cotton, which is super soft cotton, you will notice the difference when wearing them. Available in grey, blue and white for £17.99 each, it’s the base for any good outfit.

Cropped Selvedge Jeans

To go with the qualities of the cashmere and pima, you need something for your lower half, denim would be a good choice, but not any old denim. H&M are doing more jeans in my favourite denim, selvedge. Not only that, but these are in natural white, a great colour not just for the warmer months but the cooler ones too. There’s never been a better time to add some light denim into your outfits, and you can for only £49.99.

Cotton Twill Chinos

Finally there are these cotton twill chinos. I do love denim, especially the dark colours such as indigo, but sometimes you may want to use colour on the lower half, rather than the usual jeans you go for. If that’s the case, this pair of beige chinos will fit the bill. They’re a good colour which will act as a foundation for your look, and you can wear a vast array of your other clothing with a pair of these and create a number of good outfits.

What do you think of these pieces?

I think that H&M have done well this Autumn with their menswear for this season, these are just my edits, with a lot more similar pieces available online and in store.
