I finally got the Adidas Spain 2024 goalkeeper shirt. 2 years later, but I got it, and it’s great.
This Adidas template from 2024 is one I always liked, but I decided on not getting it when it was released, as it wasn’t actually worn much.
However I saw it was on offer so I thought it was worth getting.
Here’s everything you need to know about it.
First of all a little about the shirt. This is one of the Adidas templates which I love. It’s a great design, with half tone patterns, lines, geometry and a bold colour.
It was worn by Spain during their victorious Euro 2024 campaign, with Unai Simon wearing the shirt.
Although this was officially designated as the home Spain goalkeeper shirt for 2024, it was not worn much on the pitch. Unai Simon wore the black version the most, as well as using the green version. Both of these were not available to buy for the general public.
This template came in a large number of colours, and one of my favourite was the blue, which is what this is.
Adidas Spain 2024 Goalkeeper Shirt Design
As already mentioned, I love the design. It’s mostly a mid blue colour, deeper than sky blue but not dark.
It’s then complimented with purple geometric patterns, which are then overlaid with line and halftone pattern designs in a dark blue colour.
The badges on the front are in the same dark blue, complimenting the design well. The Spain badge is also a tonal design, which is now the standard rather than a full colour badge.
The back of the shirt is completely plain, and it has the traditional Adidas three stripes on the sleeves which go down to the shoulders.
I have the long sleeve version of this shirt, which was the original one sold. A short sleeve version does exist, but was not retailed by Adidas.
How The Spain 2024 Goalkeeper Shirt Fits
The Spain goalkeeper shirt fits as you would expect it to. It’s a semi slim fitted shirt, which is pretty much standard these days.
It fits well in the body and the length, however the sleeves are a slightly different story.
The sleeves are quite short, I would have liked them slightly longer. This could be due to it being a goalkeeper shirt, so the expectations of wearing gloves might be a thing.
The cuffs of the sleeves are just standard too, whereas old school goalie shirts used to have a ripped elastic style which I prefer.
And there we have it, the Adidas Spain 2024 Home Goalkeeper shirt is now added to my collection.
