Remember Hypercolor? I Got A Technacolour T-Shirt!

Lifestyle
Wednesday, 15th August, 2012

If you are a 90s child you may remember the good old Global Hypercolor t-shirts that were popular back in the day. I LOVED mine, and I have wanted to get another for years.

I had an orange one which went yellow, but I always wanted the purple one which went blue, but never got one.

If you have never heard of them or know nothing about them, they are shirt which change colour πŸ™‚ They are heat reactive, so whenever they are hot or cold they change colour. So you can breathe on the shirt and it will change colour.

I finally found someone selling them a while back, and I recently decided to get one, and I finally got it!

It just looks like a regular purple t-shirt until there is some heat….

heat reactive t-shirt! πŸ˜€

I love this kind of old retro style tee, it will be great to wear this out πŸ˜‰

  1. John Murphy Said,

Hi Michael, I had the exact same one around 22 years ago and my daughter recently told me a guy came into the pub she works in wearing it and how it brought back memories of when she and my sons used to love leaving hand prints on. Where can I purchase the shirts as Amazon are out of stock.

    Hi John,
Thanks for your comments, they do bring back memories! πŸ˜€ You could check out eBay, I am not sure if the company which brought these back are still going, I got mine a few years ago πŸ™‚
