Gant Spring/Summer 16 Collection – Michael 84 Edit

I really love GANT, they make some really nice men’s fashion, and I’ve had some really nice things from them including this cream cable knit, a couple of shirts and I have featured them in my spring knitwear guide too. For the Spring/Summer season, they have released their updated collection, filled with bright and vibrant style, and perfect if you’re looking for an upgrade refresh, or just need to add a couple of items to your wardrobe.

Here’s my picks, the Michael 84 edit of a few things I’ve found over at GANT.

If there’s one thing I love about Spring and summer fashion it’s different colour chinos. I was a bit of a late adopter to adding colour to my lower half, then started out a few years ago with white denim, and now I really like to add some colour with other colourful options perfect for Spring/Summer. The key is to use pastel colours which are vibrant without being too loud or bold, and style them with neutral colours such as whites, blues, blacks and greys. GANT are doing an array of colours, including sand lilac, blue and green, perfect to create a new look. Shop for their summer chinos, they are £100 a pair.

Linen is a good choice when you want to wear a shirt in warmer climates, so adding one of these to your wardrobe is a good option. Great to take on holiday or to wear on a beach, this comes in at £100. A light blazer is also a good thing to own, and I really love the colour of this herringbone jacket, which is a cotton-linen mix. It’s expensive at £345, but should last for a good few summers. Lightweight knits are brilliant for cooler days and nights, and GANT have so many great choices. Team up a V-neck with a shirt, they’re £90 and available in lots of seasonal and stable colours.

Polo’s are a perfect in-between if you want something more casual than a button-up shirt and more formal than a tee. I really love this navy option with pin striping which will keep you looking smart and cool all at the same time. It’s £100. Since it’s still pretty cool right now, a pullover is still an option, and I really like this luxurious cashmere wool hoodie. Wear it with a tee under for a cosy-casual look, or just wear it zipped up with nothing. It’s expensive at £185, but it is cashmere.
