Another Football Weekend For The Summer

How was your weekend?

This weekend has been another good one if you like football…Just when you think the football season is over, it’s not 😀 There’s been some international football, even though it’s not a year for the Euros or World Cup, there’s been a few games on.

The Nations League has been on, with England losing against Netherlands and then beating Switzerland in the 3/4 place playoff on penalties. In the other games, Portugal beat Switzerland 3-1 and then in the final Netherlands vs Portugal.

I have been watching Spain, who played Faroe Islands and beat them 4-1, and tonight will play Sweden, probably the biggest game, both games are the Euro 2020 qualifiers. If you like the women’s  game, then the Summer is for you too, with the women’s World Cup already underway.

So even though the football has finished, it kind of hasn’t…Good news if you’re a football fan, and bad if you’re not 😀

Foot updates! – You might remember I had been using a moon boot for my foot a few weeks back. I have had issues with it for so long, and I finally got to see the physio. They seem to think it’s possibly a joint problem rather than something else, so I have been doing exercises on my toe to see if that improves things. I don’t need to use the moon boot now which is a plus.

Other than the football, it’s been a quiet weekend. I have been really into the 90’s music, and as you saw bought the Shampoo album…Yes, I still buy CDs! What can I say, I really am a true 90’s kind of guy 😉
