Evisu 2016 Chinese Year Of The Monkey Jeans

Fashion, Mens Fashion Collections

Evisu have launched their limited edition premium jeans, inspired by the Monkey, which is the 2016 zodiac sign for the Chinese New Year. Every year they release a special edition of their denim, designed with the Chinese zodiac symbol at it’s heart. I have loved Evisu denim for over 10 years, they are known for their premium Japanese denim, and although they are no longer one of my favourite brands, if there’s one thing you know you’re going to get, it’s the high quality and Japanese influences of culture with Evisu.

The jeans are used are from the luxury deluxe Evisu line, and use the 2000 style which is a loose fit raw selvedge denim. As you’d expect for such a premium pair of denim, there’s nothing spared, with premium buttons, rivets, stitching and leather patch detail. They are limited to 300 pairs Worldwide, and each pair will be uniquely numbered on the leather patch denoting what number they are.

The jeans themselves are indigo in colour, and come with golden embroidery patterns on both back pockets, with the daicock having gold, red and white embroidery running down the legs. The pocket features red godhead print symbolizing quality which is synonymous with Evisu’s brand.

They come in a really nice wooden presentation box, and cost €699 from Evisu at selected stores, or online
