Ballers is back!
Are you ready for more Dwayne Johnson in sharp suits? One of my favourite shows, Ballers is back on Sky Atlantic, it’s into season 4 and the premiere is on tonight at 22:10.
If you’ve never seen it, where have you been!? Basically it’s a show which centres around the NFL and American Football, in particular Spencer Strasmore played by Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock, who’s a retired football player now trying to make it as a financial manager for the players.
It’s the most watched 30 minute show on HBO, and 2nd most watched only to Game Of Thrones. If you haven’t seen this and wonder what it’s like, this Entourage but with a football backdrop rather than the movie business.

It’s all about the story lines, glitz, glamour, money, friends, boys having a good time and of course, girls 😉 It’s the work hard, play harder lifestyle. The original 3 seasons were set in Miami, but they’ve moved to a new city, and season 4 is based in Los Angeles.
All the boys are back, including Joe, Ricky, Charles, Vernon, Jason and Reggie.
The first episode of the new season has Russell Brand who’s playing a character, and I’m looking forward to seeing where this series goes from here.
