Menswear Suit Size Guide

This is a suit size guide for formal jackets as well as waistcoats. There is also a conversion for Italian sizing, which is typically 10 more than the UK/US equivalent (i.e. a 38 is a 48IT.)

A small suit is usually the smallest from most brands in the UK, which is a size 36″. Suits and suit jackets can be sized in Short, Regular and Long. This denoted the sleeve length and jacket cut.

If you are short (under 5’5) you may opt for a short, if you are very tall (over 6’1) you may opt for a Long.
