Men’s Shoe Size Guide

When it comes to men’s shoe sizes, they are usually quite universal in comparison to other menswear. If you’re a specific size in one brand, it’s going to be highly likely that you will be the same size in another.

There can be some slight differences, this is usually only half a size or so. It’s always best to try on shoes before you buy to get the perfect fit.

Casual shoes and trainers are measured in length only. Some formal shoes also come in different widths, which are denoted by a letter.

In the UK, an F is the standard fitting, with E being narrow and G being wide.

In The USA, a D is the equivalent to an F standard fitting, with an EE being the equivalent as a UK G.

For UK vs USA sizing, a good rule of thumb is that the US sizes are +1 to the UK.

If you are buying Italian or French shoes these will likely use the EU sizing, which is shown in the table below.

Shoes and trainers can vary ever so slightly. In my experience, trainers can be slightly smaller than formal shoes.

This table is a guide, and different footwear manufacturers may differ slightly. The advise is to always try on footwear before buying.

How To Measure Your Feet At Home

You can measure you own feet by placing a soft tape measure on the floor and measuring your foot from heel to toe. This will give you your foot length measurement.
