This Week's Must Have Menswear - 3rd May 2019

Happy Friday!

It’s pay weekend for many, and we also have a long weekend with the Bank Holiday on Monday, so lots to look forward to already. For this week’s must have menswear, I’ve included some pieces which will get you through the cold and rainy season, along with pieces fit for Summer, and also thrown in a bit of a wild card at the end, which is something that caught my eye.

So here is this week’s fashion Friday five in full.

Lazy Oaf Lazyland Tie Dye Long Sleeve Tee With Hood – £55

Lazy Oaf Lazyland tie dye long sleeve t shirt

One trend which is taking the world by storm is the tie-dye trend. It’s something which I really like, and there’s so many different takes and variations on how this is being done. My personal favourite is the pastel, lighter and more subtle ways it’s being done, such as this long sleeve T Shirt from Lazy Oaf.

It comes with a hood to the back which is an interesting feature, Lazyland print to the front with a graphic print to the back.

Lazy Oaf – £55

Champion Navy Baseball Jacket – £119

Champion Navy Baseball jacket

I love baseball jackets, and already own a few of them, so it’s good to see that Champion has come back with some of these bomber length jackets which are ready to wear now. They’re made from sweatshirt material, 100% cotton and super soft to touch.

The key detailing for baseball jackets are the striped trims, the welted side pockets and press stud buttons for the opening & closing of the jacket.

END. – £119

J.Lindeberg Hurl Panelled Sweatshirt – £110

J Lindeberg Colour Block Sweatshirt

J.Lindeberg is a brand I am very familiar with, having bought a fair few things from them over the years. The Scandinavian label has some interesting menswear for this season, including this sweatshirt which has a colour block panel design. I really like the design, and use of the blue, white and black makes it stand out while still having that clean look.

Harvey Nichols£110

Nudie Jeans Lean Dean Ecru White Jeans – £115

Nudie Jeans Lean Dean White Jeans

When it comes to wearing something different to dark denim, white jeans are the perfect alternative. I do love them, and they’re perfect for Summer. If you want an investment piece, then you can look no further than Nudie Jeans. These are the Lean Dean fit, which is fairly slim, and will look great this Summer, and will last for seasons to come.

Nudie Jeans£115

Nike Logo Reversible Mesh Zip Up T Shirt – £40

Nike Mesh Baseball T Shirt Reversible

This is one of those pieces which you will either love or hate, but I find it really interesting. It’s a mesh t shirt from Nike, baseball style, which comes with a zip up front. The interesting thing is that it’s reversible. It has this panelled design with a large swoosh, but if you prefer it more toned down, you can reverse it, and it becomes a black version with small swoosh.

I like mesh t shirts for the Summer when they’re done right, this reminds me of an old school 90’s Adidas baseball T Shirt which I used to have back then and love. A few weeks back I featured another mesh tee from Calvin Klein, so it’s seems they’re in fashion.

Selfridges£40

And that’s this week’s must have menswear, my fashion Friday top 5 picks. Let me know what you think of these pieces, and as always, if there’s something you want to see featured next time, please let me know.

Have a great weekend 🙂
