Summer Playlist With Rekorderlig

Wednesday, 20th May, 2015

If you’re a regular reader then you’ll know how much I love Rekorderlig Cider. I’ve featured Rekorderlig on the blog a few times, and really got into it. It’s such a crisp, refreshing drink, and they have so many flavours and amazing combinations of ingredients. My favourite is probably the passion fruit, the wild berry is another, but I honestly like them all.

Summer is on the way, that means brighter nights and it’s the perfect time to go to a beer garden or have your own private soiree with your closest friends. An essential item to any party is music, so when Rekorderlig asked me to create a summer playlist for their #BrighterNights campaign I was more than happy to compile a playlist with some of the ultimate summer classics.

These days the way we listen to music is completely different, and with cool technology taking over from a boom box or HiFi. When your hosting a party there’s no need to look for CDs, it’s all digital. With that we have wireless speakers, which means anyone at your party with a smartphone and a music collection can connect to your speaker and play some of their favourite tracks. Here is my playlist to get any party started, some good summer vibes and real anthems.

  1. DJ Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince – Summertime
  2. Nelly – Hot In Herre
  3. Dario G – Sunchyme
  4. Stonebridge Featuring Therese – Put ‘Em High
  5. Strike – U Sure Do
  6. Sash – Encore Une Fois
  7. Rihanna – We Found Love
  8. Eric Prydz – Call On Me
  9. Armand Van Helden – You Don’t Know Me
  10. Pitbull Featuring Ne-Yo, Afrojack & Nayer – Give Me Everything
  11. Shakira Featuring Wycleff Jean – Hips Don’t Lie
  12. Katy Perry – Roar
  13. House Of Pain – Jump Around
  14. Spiller – Grovejet (If This Aint Love)
  15. R Kelly – Ignition (Remix)
  16. Cassidy – Hotel
  17. Avicii Featuring Aloe Blacc – Wake Me Up
  18. Taio Cruz – Dynamite
  19. Daft Punk – One More Time
  20. Run DMC vs Jason Nevins – It’s Like That

Listen to the whole playlist below. It starts off with the summer classic, what I like to think of as the official start to the summer, Summertime from DJ Jazzy Jeff featuring the Fresh Prince.
