With the rumours of the new Spain away kit being black and neon yellow going around for months, those rumours have been found to be true, when the Spain 2014 away kit was announced and unveiled. The away kit will be worn in Brazil at this summer’s World Cup, and is an all black look.

The could be the first ever time Spain will wear all black, with the away shirts usually being white, yellow or a shade of blue. The black will be trimmed with what can only be described as neon yellow, and looks more like a training or club 3rd kit, rather than an away kit for a national team. The middle of the front of the shirt will see a barcode like pattern in the neon yellow and black.

This could be the most ugly looking kit Spain have ever had. Why they have chosen a bright neon yellow is strange, considering the home shirt is trimmed with gold to celebrate “The golden period in Spanish football”, it would make more sense, and look far, far, better if this was trimmed with gold in the same way as the home kit.
