Must Have Menswear - Mid Season Sale Special - 5th April 2019

Happy Friday!

For this week’s must have menswear, I have decided to pick out the best of the mid season sale items! It’s usually a Fashion Friday Five, but for this week, I’ve sneeked in an additional item, because I couldn’t decide which one I would drop.

How crazy has the weather been thought? Snow in April? It’s not the first time, but it’s strange since we’ve had some really decent weather a few weeks ago. I’ve kept in mind that with this week’s guide, and picked out clothing for the colder and more rainy days and nights we’ve seen so far in April.

J.Crew Colour Block Turtleneck Jumper – £56

J.Crew Turtleneck Jumper colour block

I love the colour blocking of this turtleneck jumper from J.Crew. The colours are neutral and all work together really well. As you’ll know from the blog in recent months, I am a roll-neck convert, and really love them as a great alternative to a jumper. This one looks great for a smart casual look.

Ralph Lauren Jersey Bomber – £67

Grey Polo Ralph Lauren Jersey Bomber Jacket

I love jersey cotton bomber jackets, and if I didn’t already have a grey one, I would be seriously considering this. From Polo by Ralph Lauren, this is a light grey, soft cotton zip up bomber jacket, and looks the part. Clean and sleek, it has the Ralph Lauren Polo horse logo to the breast, but other than that, it’s completely clean.

This was £155, but you can get it now for £67, better than half price, with all sizes still available.

Allsaints Merino Mode Cardigan – £54

Allsaints Mode Merino Cardigan

I featured the Allsaints mode hoodie last week, and if you’re looking for something smarter, they have a similar knit, but this one is a cardigan. It comes without any buttons or zip, and is designed to be worn open.

It comes in a range of colours, with some on offer. This iron blue colour is one which is on offer, and is made from 100% merino wool.

Levi’s Flag Hoodie – £37.49

Levi's Flag Logo Hoodie in White

For the cool brands, Levi’s has been doing some good things in recent years, and this hoodie is one you can get if you want something from the brand. I have the flag print logo T Shirt which I got a couple of years back, and think it’s a cool design. It looks great on this hoodie, which is white, really setting off the logo to the front.

Tommy Hilfiger Stretch Long Sleeve T Shirt – £17.50

Tommy Hilfiger Long Sleeve Grey T Shirt

When it comes to branding and looking minimal, I’ve been a fan of the small Tommy Hilfiger logo collection for a while. You can get their long sleeve slim fit T-shirt in the sale in a dark grey colour, which will look great with a bit of layering.

£17.50 – Zalando

Benetton Navy Sweatshirt – £24.49

Benetton Sweatshirt In Navy

When it comes to brands from the 90’s there’s been a lot of comebacks, and I do love 90’s style. One which hasn’t had much coverage from the mainstream has been Benetton, but It’s been featured here a bit.

I really like this sweatshirt, with the classic Benetton wording to the front which is embroidered. It’s on sale, so there’s never been a better time to get on board with United Colours Of Benetton.

And there you have it! Six items for this week’s must have menswear, all in the mid-season sale. There’s a ton more men’s clothing out there for you to get, so if you’re looking for a fresh upgrade, now is the time to go and have a look to see what there is.

BONUS TIP – If you’re worried about buying something which will go out of style, buy staple items of clothing. These are usually plain or basic items, in colours which never go out of fashion, including navy, grey, black and white.
