This Week's Must Have Menswear - 10th May 2019 - Fashion Friday

Happy Friday!

It’s the end of a pretty short week thanks to the bank holiday, and it’s also time for this week’s must have menswear, aka Fashion Friday Five. If you’ve never read the blog before, this is the weekly segment where I showcase five pieces of menswear which has caught my eye over the week.

This week showcases another T-shirt from the tie dye trend, a sweatshirt to keep warm in our forever changeable weather we’ve been having, a cool tee,  a short sleeve shirt and those must have socks.

So here’s this week’s must have menswear in full, with all the details on how to buy these products.

Pacsun Tie Dye T Shirt – £30

Pacsun Tie Dye T Shirt

The tie dye trend shows no sign of slowing down, and there’s more and more T-shirts and other tops which brands are designing and releasing which all have their individual twist on the trend. I first wrote about it back in April, and it looks like my prediction is very much coming true, there’s so much tie dye out there right now.

This T Shirt from Pacsun has the subtle tie-dye pattern in light colours, and has a funky wording print to the front breast which says checked out.

Sunspel Riviera Ombre Dye T Shirt – £79

Sunspel Ombre T Shirt

When it comes to T Shirts Sunspel is one of the best T-shirt brands out there. They are synonymous with high quality cotton tees, so when you combine that with something like a dip dye trend, you have a winner.

I have a couple of dip dye T Shirts which I haven’t worn in a while, but seeing these makes me want to get them back out for summer. You can add this style to your wardrobe by getting one of these. The white going into an ombre red colour really does stand out and look good.

Nike Club Crew Sweatshirt – £39

Nike Club Light Blue Sweatshirt

A couple of days ago all we had was rain for an entire day, and it’s freezing cold once again. It reminds you that the Summer is not here quite yet, so if you’re looking to stay warm, this Nike Club sweatshirt is the way to go.

The pastel blue colour is perfect for Spring/Summer, and will work in the cold days we have now, and the chilly nights which we get too.

£39 – END.

Joules Multi Stripe Shirt – £50

Joules Stripe Shirt With Block Colours

When the sun (eventually) comes out, you might want to wear a shirt, and this one from Joules really caught my eye. I always prefer a plain shirt, and when I don’t wear one of those, it’s usually a check shirt. This one comes in a striped pattern in multi-colours including grey, white and pink, and I think it just works. It’s a nice casual shirt which can be layered and make you stand out from the crowd.

Paul Smith Polka Dot Blue Socks – £18

Paul Smith Polka Dot Socks

I do love my socks, and I have plenty of polka dot socks, so I can definitely recommend them when it comes to this kind of style. I love the pattern, and they are something which can really make an outfit, and set you apart from the rest. There’s a time and a place for plain socks, but if you’re looking to make an impact or just show off your fun side, this is a small and subtle way to do it. These socks are sky blue with black polka dots, and look great.

And that’s it for this week’s must have menswear. As always, you can read more of my fashion tips and catch up on previous Fashion Fridays too. Let me know what you think of the menswear which has been featured this week, and if you have any tips for next week you can let me know.

Have a great weekend 🙂
