Mean Girls, Election And Bring It On – Films

Friday, 1st May, 2015

Happy Friday all! πŸ˜€

I have not bought any films for a little bit, and I’ve watched everything I’ve bought, and always keep watching my favourites so I needed something ‘new’ to watch. I’ve actually went and bought some old films which I have already seen, rather than something new or something I haven’t watched before. I was never really into buying or watching films too much, I liked several but you definitely could never call me a film buff. In recent times, pretty much since I got Blu Ray (maybe a little before), I have watched films a lot more, and have been buying old films I like, as well as newer ones as and when they come out.

This means that there’s lots of films I like or love, which I don’t own, having never bothered buying them on DVD and just watching on TV. I bought a couple the other day, which were Mean Girls, Bring It On and Election.

Means Girls is 11 years old now, and I actually only first seen it last year. If you’ve never seen it before then you probably have the impression I had; It’s called Mean Girls, it’s going to be terrible! It’s actually really funny, if you haven’t see it you should get over the title and watch it πŸ˜€

Bring It On…Another teen flick. I have not seen this in around 10 years, maybe more! I like my teen films, I like this although it’s not a classic it’s still a good watch.

Election – Perfect timing for this film. It stars Reese Witherspoon and Matthew Broderick as the main cast, with a couple of others like Chris Klein (Oz from American Pie) and is about the perfect model student Flick who runs for student president. I love this film, and once again I haven’t seen it in ages. Pick Flick! πŸ˜‰

I will be buying some more good old classic films from back in the day, I just have to remember them!
