Today I (finally) got some alcohol for Christmas, and this is what I got. Club Havana white rum. I have a taste for Piña Colada and I need white run to make it, so I got this. I could have got Bacardi, probably the standard white rum, but I wanted this.
I love vanilla vodka and Coke too, so I found a 1 litre bottle of vanilla Grey Goose and got that. I have had Absolut and Smirnoff Vanilla, and other brands when I have been out in Newcastle, but never Grey Goose, so I decided to get a bottle. It’s supposedly quite rare now, and expensive, £50 for this bottle!
I still have a 2002 bottle of Moet champagne, but you can never have too much, so I got another bottle. I got this for my mam & dad’s anniversary too, their new vintage is 2004 which is really nice. This is probably the nicest ‘standard’ champagne I have had, only around £40 a bottle and it goes down very well.
I might test drive the vodka this weekend, and keep the champagne for another time.
