The Must Have Menswear This Week - 22nd February 2019

Happy Friday guys!

So I’ve been wanting to bring back an old feature for a while, and it sometimes comes and goes, but hopefully I’ll resurrect this properly, I’m talking about my Friday Fashion picks! If you missed it, years back I did a round up of my favourite menswear which is fairly new, if not brand new, and did this for a while. I haven’t done any for a while, but I think it’s the time to bring it back, so I can showcase lots of the new clothing which you can get right now.

I’ve decided to change it up to Friday Fashion Five, which means, you guessed it, showing off only 5 items which I’ve noticed over the week. It will be whatever has caught my eye, so it could be cool, unusual, different, or just a brand I love having a new piece, or even just a staple piece which I think is cool and relevant for the time.

Limiting it to only 5 pieces will make sure that there’s just enough to keep this interesting, and not a bloated list of tons of products which are just for filler. Who knows, some weeks it could be 3 or 4, and some perhaps 6 or 7 – But I’ll try to keep it to five 😉

So here we go, this week’s must have menswear, the Friday Fashion Five!

Kenzo Slim Fit Jeans – £150

Kenzo Slim Fit Jeans

I got myself a pair of Kenzo jeans at the back end of last year and I really like them. They come up with some good design ideas while still keeping the denim classic but stylish, and these are no different. Dark denim with contrasting stitching, they’re classic while standing out while also being contemporary. Slim fit, I really like this jeans.

£150 at Kenzo.

Canada Goose Paterson Jumper

Canada Goose Paterson Jumper – £295

We’re heading into Spring, but this is the UK, so we’ve got no idea what that means temperature wise. When the temperature drops, a good knitted jumper will be needed, and if you want luxury, look no further than the Paterson jumper from Canada Goose.

A familiar name in outerwear, I love my Canada Goose jacket and have always said it’s the best jacket I’ve ever owned, and now they’re doing menswear too. This jumper is made from ultra fine Italian merino wool, cut to a slim silhouette and has detailing including the badge on the sleeve.

£295 at Canada Goose

POLO Ralph Lauren Sullivan White Jeans – £119

POLO Ralph Lauren Sullivan White Jeans

From Winter to Spring and especially in Summer, white denim is a brilliant option when you want to mix up your style and go for something lighter on your lower half. I love white jeans, and the Sullivan from POLO Ralph Lauren are a good choice.

The gold rivet detailing is a nice touch, and are a slim fit, great for a smart casual look.

£119 at Selfridges.

Tommy Hilfiger Cotton-Silk Jumper In Yellow – £90

Tommy Hilfiger Yellow Jumper For Spring

Spring is right around the corner, so getting something bright and vibrant may be something you are considering. If that’s the case, this yellow jumper from Tommy Hilfiger should be considered. Made from a cotton-silk blend, I really love this colour for the upcoming season, and with a tiny Tommy Hilfiger flag branding, you’ll stay understated while people still knowing you’re rocking a cool brand.

£90 from Tommy Hilfiger

Ryan Hawaii Tie-dye Denim Jacket – £445

Ryan Hawaii Tie-Dyed Denim Jacket

For my final piece of clothing I’ve gone for an absolute wildcard which is no doubt a statement piece. I love denim jackets for the Spring and Summer, and this tie-dye denim jacket from Ryan Hawaii is all about Summer vibes. British designed, and a real unique jacket, if you like bright hues in your street wear, this jacket has it all. Filled with graphics it will definitely stand out this year.

£445 at Selfridges.

And those are my Friday Fashion Five for this week. From staple items which will last for years to statement pieces of clothing which are made for individuality, I think these pieces are some of the best of the week.
