Film Night: London Has Fallen Blu Ray Review

London Has Fallen Review

Hey guys!

So the last film I reviewed on the blog was a blu ray and it was The Big Short which I thought was really good, and a film which I’ve had for so long but not watched is London Has Fallen which is the follow up to Olympus Has Fallen.

I wanted to watch something with some action and a typical Hollywood film which was easy watching, after I’ve been watching a lot of factual or documentary style films of late. This is obviously that, and if you’ve seen Olympus Has Fallen then it’s very much the same type of film, this time set in London. I do love when films I watch are set in places I have been too or live in, is that just me? 😛

So the film; Once again Gerard Butler is the American’s president’s head of security, and they both have to go to London on a state visit with the other leaders of the World, as the Prime Minister dies (all the world leaders names used are fictitious). Two years previously Western intelligence agencies collaborated and organised an air strike when a terrorist’s family is killed. This is the terrorists revenge, who admits to organising the attacks and says there will be more if the President doesn’t hand himself over, with the terrorists trying to hunt him down to broadcast his killing on the Internet. And the film goes from there with plenty of action.

It’s a good film, and if you love things blowing up and lots of action it’s worth watching if you haven’t already seen it. It’s only on for 99 minutes, so it’s not a long 2 hour+ film which is refreshing these days since so many are. If you liked the first one, you’ll probably like this.
