Checked Tweed Jacket For Autumn/Winter 13

Wednesday, 16th October, 2013

Having a diverse wardrobe is a key aspect of fashion, so having different styles of jacket is essential from keeping your look fresh. I have recently been looking at changing up my wardrobe with some tweed and other styles of jackets such as herringbone. Tweed is a wool which is rough an unfinished, and comes in a variety of patterns and designs.

Now autumn is here we can safely say we are into the colder months of the year. Tweed jackets are great to wear out for a smart causal occasion such as going out to trendy bars. They are fashionable, and can be worn with almost anything. Keep a very smart yet simple look with a tweed jacket and a light coloured plain or patterned shirt, jeans and finish it off with a nice pair of shoes. It has traditionally being associated with the older gentleman or those who enjoy a spot of clay pigeon shooting, but now it’s being worn by younger guys looking to add more creativity to their look.

I spotted this J by Jasper Conran jacket, a grey blazer in regular fit. The tweed checked designs keeps things subtle while adding dimension to your outfit, and has a comfortable black spotted lining. It comes in single breast, and has a two button fastening while also having three exterior pockets and one internal pocket.

This jacket is available in Debenhams now for only £120 £90. You can buy the jacket or check out the full range of jackets on offer at Debenhams.
