Although it’s still Winter, you should probably be thinking about getting out and training, if you haven’t already. Addias have released the Cage collection which I really like. There’s pieces including jackets, hooded tops, T-shirts and shorts, and come with iconic prints and designs.
The Tango collection is actually based on football clothing, the Tango football was an iconic football created by Adidas and used in the 1978 and 1982 World Cups. With all sportswear they have multiple uses, so if you’re having a kick around, playing 5 a side or going for a run, these pieces will work well for any occasion. The Tango Cage collection has a distinctive sublimation print throughout, and is available in red and black, although I love the blue variations which I have chosen here.
Selected pieces are also made with recycled polyester. This is part of the Adidas sustainable product program which sees the products made in the most sustainable ways possible.
My favourite pieces from the collection include the T-shirt above, which has the cool printed design and only costs £25 from Adidas here. The track jacket in the middle is another favourite. It’s a classic Adidas track jacket with tonal three stripes down the arms, and the pattern on 2/3 of the jacket and arms. This is another reasonably priced piece of clothing at £48 here. The first top is a more toned down version, which is priced at £35.
The blue T Shirt comes in climalite fabric to sweep the sweat away from the body, and will set you back £30. The shorts will give you good freedom and movement for running, and are £22. Finally the classic track jacket comes with contrasting white colour zip and stripes on the arms, it’s navy in colour, has kangaroo pockets to the sides, hood and white zipped front. This one is also from the recycle range, and has the recycle logo to the front left breast, and costs £60.
