Got My Versace Cruise For H&M Fashion Today

Posted by Michael on Friday 27th January, 2012

Today was the day when I got my Versace Cruise for H&M products! As I have already mentioned I completely forgot about this being released, I must of been asleep or something :D but luckily I was able to get lots of great things, probably most that I want out of the collection, apart from the dressing gown :( I have seen a few images of it and it looks amazing! I would buy it if it comes available, it might, so watch this space ;)

Anyway for the things I DID get, which were a t-shirt, pair of jeans and a cardigan, here they are…

Really nice T Shirt, strechy cotton and feels nice, although I have not tried it yet, I fear it may be a bit translucent :P

Silk blend cardigan, which is really nice and is in blue, one of the only colours I have not got in a cardigan, but I have now!  I love my cardigans so this will get plenty of wear.

The most impressive things I got from this collection were these jeans. At only £40 this are amazing quality! I really like the fit, they feel really good and are well designed, I love the thick chunky buttons which make them feel really tough but are in fact really soft.

How much was all of the above? Under £100! It is little wonder this stuff is usually sold out on the first day!

Versace Cruise For H&M 2012

Posted by Michael on Saturday 21st January, 2012

H&M had another “blink and you’ll miss it” collaboration with Versace which went on sale last Thursday. I must admit, I completely forgot about it! So I went on to H&M.com yesterday and bought a few pieces. I had another look today and almost everything was gone, so I guess I was lucky to get what I did since I only ordered yesterday and it had been on sale for more than 24 hours :P

Here is what I have picked up:

A T Shirt £19.99, pair of jeans £39.99 and a cardigan £34.99. Just under £100. I should get these by next week.

There was a really nice dress-jacket/blazer which looked really nice and I was tempted, but I have not even worn the last one I got from the Versace/H&M collaboration, so I think it would of been a bit of a waste :D

What did you think of the Versace Cruise collection? Was there any highlights?

My New Versace Watch – I Love It :)

Posted by Michael on Tuesday 13th December, 2011

So I got a new watch last week, and I am finally blogging about it :) I have been after a nice new watch for so long, I was gonna keep my D&G one as my good watch and buy another everyday watch, but then I found this Versace watch, and I really like it.

(sorry for all the watermarks, but people steal images and this is a prestige watch!)

So with the watch you get a warrenty card & compliment card, a book, a really posh box and a soft case.

A close up pic :) I really love this watch. I wanted something more simple and understated but elegant, I wanted a leather style strap too, so I got this. My other watches look a bit more flashy and blingy, this is nice and simple, and you would need to know about watches to know it is a quality time piece ;)

The strap is actually made of aligator, and this is an automatic watch which means it never needs a battery or to be wound. It is Swiss made with a Swiss movement, which is what top quality watches use.

My Final Versace For H&M T-Shirts Came

Posted by Michael on Wednesday 7th December, 2011

Hey!

Yeah, so finally my other Versace for H&M T Shirts came today, I ordered them a while ago but were not part of my “first” order when it was crazy trying to get hold of anything. When I got these there was still the hysteria, which is why one is a large and the other is my size, medium :P They are a bit loud, but hey, they are Versace for H&M

Where are the sleeves?! :P I swear on the pics on the site it had sleeves, oh well. This is a Large, I have not tried it on yet.

The other tee, looks like a holiday :D

Versace For H&M Finds It’s Way Onto eBay

Posted by Michael on Thursday 17th November, 2011

Yep, it was only just a matter of time, and it seems within minutes, and in some cases before the pieces even went on sale, they appeared on eBay.

I think its a disgrace myself. There are people who went and bought pieces of the collection purely to sell-on to people through eBay. They bought things they did not want, and someone probably did and can’t pay the extortionate prices they are asking for them.

It seems there are people who are paying for the stuff, here are a few examples of things already been sold on.

T Shirt – RRP £14.99 and sold for £40. almost 3x the original price

Jacket – RRP £79.99 and sold for £200. Almost 3x the original price.

T Shirt RRP £14.99 and sold for £55. Almost 4x the original price.

Alfie Brewer, 18, was interviewed by The Guardian after he made his purchases, he said:

I’ve spent exactly £979.87 today and I started queuing at 9pm last night. The jacket I’m wearing was the main reason I came, and most of the other things I bought were for friends or will go on eBay

Source - The Guardian

It’s sad when you see people like this guy, and you read on the H&M Facebook feed of the people who were not fortunate enough to be able to buy things, because these profiteering douchebags exist.

Searching eBay at the moment there are over 50 items for sale in the mens dept. and over 1,000 on eBay (search term: h&m versace).

The only way to stop this is for people NOT to go to eBay and pay silly prices, unfortunately that doesn’t look like happening.

What do you think?

Versace For H&M Launch – 17.11.11

Posted by Michael on Thursday 17th November, 2011

Today was the day!

This morning at 9am the Versace and H&M collaboration went on sale! There were queues outside all the places selling it, and online the website crashed and was almost unusable most of the morning into the early afternoon. Donatella Versace popped into the London store this morning (pics below) and seemed rather happy :)

Did you go to an H&M today? If you did please send me your pics and I will put them up! (you get credit of course! ;) )

I went on and tried to get a few things, and did! :D I will show which items I got when they come, which is supposed to be next week. I got confirmation emails for all items, so I hope that they will keep their promise and I will get my stuff.

The website had its problems. Apart from it being down, when you got in you could only buy 1 item…Not a quantity of 1 item per design/piece, just 1 item. So if you wanted more than 1 thing, a shirt and trousers for example, you had to check out and then order the 2nd item and check out again. Not too big of a deal usually, but when the site kept crashing it became very hard.

This obviously meant that people would get disappointed as items would sell out fast. I was on the site all morning, and from what I can tell, not all items were available to buy online. For example the Mens boxer shorts came in 2 colours and 4 sizes, and all were “sold out” within 20 minutes of the site going live; The same for the mens scarves; So I wonder if they were available at all online?

The stuff has already made it’s way onto eBay :( Please do NOT buy the stuff from there. I have seen a few people already trying to sell an £80 jacket for £250, it’s a disgrace. The only way we can stop this from happening is not to buy from unofficial sellers on eBay…Unfortunately I guess there will be a few who do buy from them :( If you do buy from eBay please do not pay more than market value.

Regent Street in London looked a little busy…

If you were online on the H&M website this morning then this is probably a familiar site….

H&M Collaboration With Versace

Posted by Michael on Tuesday 21st June, 2011

H&M have announced that they are to collaborate with Versace this year, to debut in Autumn. The Donatella Versace collection will hit the stores in November, just in time for your Versace Christmas stockings.

The collaboration is just the latest in a long line of colabs that H&M have done; With other designer collections from Lanvin, Stella McCartney, Jimmy Choo, Cavalli and more. I do remember there being huge queues at the H&M in Newcastle when the collaboration with Jimmy Choo hit the streets. I think that they sold out on the first day.
