Spain 2011 Away Shirt

Posted by Michael on Tuesday 23rd November, 2010

Last week I got the Spain 2011 Home Shirt, and now I have the Spain 2011 Away Shirt!

Again I had to get this from Spain, from one of the only places selling it at the moment, so I am one of the lucky ones who has it, and once again probably the first one in the country :D The place I got this one from doesnt do printing, so I couldnt get anything printed on the back. Since Spain havent worn it yet I am unsure what colour the printing will be, I would guess red, its usually red on white, but I dont know at the moment.

I do like it, its nice and clean. I have to say I like the old navy blue one more, probably because they won the world cup in that one :P

How good does that World Champions 2010 badge look? Hahaha! :D

Spain 2011 Home Shirt – I GOT IT!!!

Posted by Michael on Friday 19th November, 2010

So I said in my last post that I was waiting for a special parcel today, and it came, and its here :D It is the brand spanking new Spain 2011 home shirt!

Soooooo happy that its here! It must be the fastest delivery of anything I have ever got, even Santa Claus himself would not have been able to do it this quick :D

Adidas announced this shirt on Monday, Spain wore it for the first time on Wednesday, and I have it on Friday. I would guess I am the first person in the UK to have this, very cool ;) This came all the way from Spain via Germany all in a day, I am impressed with 21st century logistics :D Anyway, enough of my writing and being ecstatic that its here, you wanna see it right?

We got a “World Champions 2010″ gold badge for 4 years, wooohoo!  Some other features of the shirt, the star above the crest aka world cup winners star is embroidered into the shirt,  Campeones Del Mundo 2010 embroidered into the neckline, and a new design of course :)

This one I got printed, with the hero of Spain, Andreas Iniesta on the back and number 6. You will notice that the front number is in the centre, on the last shirt it was on the breast.

Spain Home Shirt 2011 & Spain Away Shirt 2011

Posted by Michael on Thursday 18th November, 2010

Like I mentioned yesterday, Spain have launched yet another shirt, this one will be the 2011 shirt, available to buy now. I am assuming this is only going to be used upto Euro 2012, and then release yet another shirt for that competition.

That’s loads of shirts Spain have released, 2008, 2009, 2010, and now this, making it 4 shirts in only 2 years! I supposed they have an excuse, there is a new badge on this one, for winning the world cup, aswell as the first design to officially have the star on it.

What do you think? I really like it. I know there are some people who dont, and saying it has too much blue in it, but I prefer them to have different designs, I hate it when a team like England bring out a new shirt and you can barely tell the difference between them.

Back to white for an away shirt. I prefer the gold or blue, but nevermind. Maybe they change the away colours every few years…last was blue, before was yellow, before that I think it was white; I remember in 2002 they had 3, using white as the away and blue as a 3rd. I have them all :P

17th November 2010 – International Football Day

Posted by Michael on Wednesday 17th November, 2010

Hey blog!

Today there is so much football on, and I am watching as much as I can :D The teams involved are huge aswell, the games are better than in the world cup  Its weird that all these big teams are playing against each other on the same night, I have known nothing like it.

I plan to watch the first half of Brasil vs Argentina, 30 minutes of Germany vs Sweden, 1st half of England vs France, and then all of Spain vs Portugal. The games overlap so I can watch a bit of each one, it wont be finished until around 23.00 :)

I also saw a glimpse of the new Spain shirt (blog post about that later), I wonder if they will be wearing it tonight? We shall see :)

Spain Shirt: World Cup 2010 Final Edition

Posted by Michael on Thursday 11th November, 2010

I got some world cup 2010 patches for my shirts the other day which I blogged about. Well I finally put them on one of my shirts :D How good does this look? Amazing right? I think so!! :)

So happy with the way it turned out. I also custom made the exact writing which was under the Spain badge for the World Cup Final. This is the exact same font, which makes my shirt look completely authentic, from the final of the world cup.

I love the way it has come out, which makes it very rare, there will not be many of these kicking around ;)

11th July, what a great day it was

Argentina vs Spain: Tonight

Posted by Michael on Tuesday 7th September, 2010

Yes it is a big game, all be it a friendly. Its Spain vs Argentina, tonight, and its live on your TV! Live on ITV4, i cant wait for it!

I am not too bothered about the result actually, i hope for a win obviously, but its a friendly, so it means nothing :D I hope that it lives up to its billing, lots of the time these games dont, espeically when there is nothing at stake.

Friday Night

Posted by Michael on Saturday 4th September, 2010

Hello blog!

How was your Friday night? Mine was good. I watched the football and had some drinks in the house, Spain won 4 – 0 woohoo! A good start to the Euro 2012 qualifying. England also had to copy Spain by winning 4 – 0 at home against Bulgaria. Next game for Spain is a friendly with Argentina, should be good.

I drank what was left of my KA’ Vodka, with some sugar free Redbull.

Today it is The Dome wooo! 3 hours of music! Stromae, Monrose, Jason Derulo, Aura Dione, D Cup, Gina Lisa, Plan B, The Hoff!!! And more :P

Euro Title Defence Begins Here

Posted by Michael on Friday 3rd September, 2010

Hello Blog!

Its International football weekend! I almost forgot it was here, because the games are being played on a Friday (today) and Tuesday…I dont know if this is a one-off, or if all the games are going to be like this. Its always been Saturday and Wednesday, maybe they changed it so its better for the league club teams, i suspect so.

Anyway tonight Spain begin their defence of the Euro 2008 title they won, in the qualifiers for Euro 2012 against Liechtenstein. Game kicks off at 19:45 and is on TeleCinco if you are in Spain.

Then its off to Argentina for Spain when they play a friendly on Wednesday, which is live in the UK, on ITV4! Woohoo! :D

England are playing Bulgaria tonight, and then Switzerland on Wednesday, 2 group games for them, playing first at home then away.

Spain vs Mexico tomorrow!

Posted by Michael on Tuesday 10th August, 2010

I forgot to write in my week plan that i am watching Spain vs Mexico tomorrow night. The game is in Mexico, and kicks off quite late, 21.00 UK time.

Its the first time Spain have played since the world cup win :D Some players have been rested/are not in the squad, such as Torres and Iniesta.

It should still be a good game :)

España = CAMPEONES!!!!!!

Posted by Michael on Tuesday 13th July, 2010

CAMPEONES, CAMPEONES, olé olé olé!

Yes!! Spain did it and won the World Cup for the very first time on Sunday night!! I am sure you are aware, of all of this now, it is Tuesday, so it was a few days ago. They beat Netherlands 1-0 after extra time, with a Andrés Iniesta goal :)

What a great night it was on Sunday, it was such a good party night, i had my drinks, champagne, vodka, redbull, food, air horns, flags, shirt, and blasting music after the final

I did not really go to bed, i watched Madrid TV and fell asleep for a few hours, and then it was morning already! My mouth tasted of champagne until Monday night!

I was so tired on Monday! But it didnt matter, I watched Madrid TV again and saw the parties and everything all over again, i wish i was in Madrid, but watching it on TV was 2nd best, it made me feel like i was there :)

Monday night it was another night of celebration, watching Madrid TV, seeing the players meet the royal family of Spain, the king and queen, prince and princesses, it was really good. The king also made a speach, which was so cool!! Then the team went to meet the prime minister of Spain, which was also cool, and funny, they started jumping up and down and he joined in!! All the crowd were amazing, chanting INIESTA, INIESTA!! and IKER, IKER!!

Then the players had a bus tour all over the city, it was crazy! :D Pepe Reina was going mental, and so was Piqué, it was so good, i do wish i was there! There were so many people, estimated to be 1 million people come out to support La Roja yesterday! It ended at puente del rey, where they took the stage. Fans had already been there for hours, and there was entertainment on, but the real reason people came was to see the players, and they werent disapointed :)

They took the stage, and it was great! Just like in 2008 Pepe Reina was the legendary MC, calling each player, and it was so good! He got to number 10, Fabregas, got him to the front of the stage, where he held him with Piqué and Puyol and they put a Barca shirt over him, he didnt know about that, haha!! He looked good in a Barca shirt ;) I bet the Arsenal fans didnt like that :P

It was such a great night, i still have a bad head, oh well, its all good :)

YouTube Preview Image

It was such an emotional few days, you have probably seen clips on YouTube of Iker Casillas kissing his girlfriend who works for TV channel TeleCinco Sara Carbonero. Also Pepe Reina singing and dancing to them on the plane home!!

I LOVE SPAIN, VIVA ESPAÑA!!!!!
