I got my first purchases from H&M spring 2012 today. I bought a couple of shirts and a big pack of socks

Here is what I got:

The shirts are nice, they are only £9.99 each. The socks are £12.99 for a pack of 10. All from H&M.

We are only two days into 2012 and the sales are still on, but if you want Spring/Summer fashion H&M are there for you. You can get some really nice pieces of fashion for a great price of course. Buy now, these may not be around come March when you wanna refresh your wardrobe.

So I got my delivery from House Of Fraser, and here are the things which I picked up. I got myself a knit, two shirts and three pairs of boxer shorts. They are by Calvin Klein and He by Mango, and 2 pair of the boxers are Bjorn Borg.

Three pairs of boxers. The Calvin Klein were a real bargain, around £9, they usually cost around £20. The Bjorn Borg were £28 for the 2 pair pack. I really love CK and Bjorn Borg boxers, I have so many.

I got these 2 shirts from Savile Row Company in London, they are really smart.

They are really nice quality, and very smart. If you are looking for some shirts or a more formal tailored look then you should check out Savile Row Co. online. They stock a large variety of shirts for both formal and casual occasions. These are both slim fitting shirts, which is what I like these days. The blue is a great colour, and the pin striped shirt looks good too.

Hello blog!

So today I got up really early, 8am, and went to the sales in Newcastle. It was not as good as I thought, maybe I missed out going a few days after boxing day. There were a few good things, but lots of sale items were not so good, or the discount was not amazing, e.g. I saw a shirt reduced from £99 to £90, not really an amazing sale.

But I did find a few things which I really liked, I picked up some really cool stuff

I am now a big fan of smart contemporary ways of dressing, and so I bought some shirts from Ralph Lauren, which have some very smart shirts and have been producing smart modern shirts for a long time now.

I bought two, and went for the pastel colours for a sharp and smart look. I got green and purple.

I got size 16 which is my usual size, and they fit well. They are not as tight fitting as my Dolce and Gabbana shirts, there is a bit more room in the chest but the shoulders and collar fit perfectly

I will be wearing these soon

I recently got a new shirt and jacket from French Connection and I love both of them They are good quality as you would expect from FCUK, and also look and feel great.

Here is the shirt which is great. It is made from good but very fine cotton, so it is perfect for the summer. I wore it yesterday, you can see that here. You can get yourself a French Connection shirt from their site here.

Next is a leather jacket. This is actually the first one I have got, and I am really impressed with it. I have looked at them in store and tried a few, and now I have this one. The quality is amazing, it’s not too heavy but not paper thin either, and looks really good with a shirt or t-shirt if you want to be more casual. You can get a jacket from French Connection here. It has plenty pockets to keep your things in, including 2 inner pockets. I like this, so I can keep my camera in there on a night out It has a zip opening as well as buttons, so you can use either, both, or none.

I got some shirts today I got 2 really nice check shirts from All Saints, aswell as a knit polo. I also got a Junk De Luxe  T shirt

All Saints Knit polo shirt. It is so thin and fine, but feels good on. Its definitely something for the summer.

All Saints “Stockholm” shirt. I like this shirt, its another checked one, that is three I have bought in the last few weeks

All Saints “Anderson” Shirt. This is a darker slightly more smart shirt, and is really really nice. I like it lots

A plain Junk De Luxe T Shirt. It is quite thick cotton, not what I was expecting. I needed to spend a little more to get free delivery, so I got this. I will use it for under my shirts probably to add a bit of contrast.

I like Junk De Luxe and All Saints, they are a really good brand with some good stuff on offer. I have also ordered some other things from All Saints direct, I am just waiting for them to come, and I will show them

Yesterday I got some clothes, here is what I got…

A blue Ted Baker shirt. I like this shirt, I dont usually wear a shirt, but I think I am going to start to wear them more. They look good with a t-shirt under and an open shirt. I love Ted Baker aswell, I have a few Ted Baker tees.

Some white jeans by Monkee Genes. These are really soft and I have bought them for the summer. I get a bit sick of all my jeans being the same colour, although I do love them all and love the colour I want something different. I already bought some black skinny jeans a few weeks ago, and got these for the summer.

I also got a Ralph Lauren belt and some green Chinos by DR Denim, but they are too big so I will have to send them back

I know that some people LOVE these shirts, and own loads, but I didnt get one yet. They have been popular in the past year or so, and i think some look good, but lots dont.

I think that girls wear these shirts really well, they look really cute and stylish, but also very smart on a man. I am liking some of the newer designs and colour combinations, and some are very toned down with the colours which i prefer. I stayed away from these for a while because i thought they were a bit too loud. I prefer a more contemporary look.
