Do You Remember The Mumba?

Posted by Michael on Friday 4th March, 2011

Do you remember Samantha Mumba? Here is one of her songs, for some reason none of her official videos are on YouTube.

I wonder where she went. I remember she tried to make a comeback a few years ago and it bombed.

Random I know!!

  4. Jennifer Lopez f/ Pitbull – On The Floor

  5. Pitbull F/ T-Pain – Hey Baby

  7. Chipmunk – Champion (The Tina Daheley version)

  8. Rihanna F/ Drake – Whats My Name

  9. Pitbull – Bon Bon

  10. Inna – Sun Is Up

So here it is! New chart, and a new #1 :) I have listened to the Rihanna track a bit, and hardly bothered with the Gaga one. New entries in my chart include new tracks from Ke$ha, Jennifer Lopez, Putbull and Inna.

The funny thing about the Jennifer Lopez track is that its #1 on the iTunes chart in 9 countries (#2 in the U.S.) and its not even in the UK top 10! I havent heard it in the UK, thats probably why. I do like the new Inna song aswell, it will probably be a hit this summer.

Here is Inna. What do you think? Its already had over 2 million views on YouTube

  10. Jodie Connor – Now Or Never

Yes, Lady Gaga is in my chart but not at number 1. Maybe next week, but I have only listened to the song 3 or 4 times so cant really put it at number 1. There are other songs which are out which I like, but cant really say I like them more than the current top 10 so cant include them.  Leathal Bizzle has re-released POW, POW 2011 with “the grime allstars” which is good, but it’s a re-release. Maybe that will be in next week aswell.

Since it is Valentines day I was gonna do a Valentines special, but I dont think I should in the chart. Maybe there will be another post for that :P

Lady Gaga – Born This Way

Posted by Michael on Friday 11th February, 2011

What do you think of the new Lady Gaga song – “Born This Way”?

Ferne Cotton and Radio 1 had the first play for UK radio this morning, she liked it so much she played it twice…Back to back!

It sounds good to me, but sometimes on a first listen I love a song then it fades. Only listened to it a few times so far, so time will tell. But so far, so good :D
