I posted ages ago about me getting a Marc Ecko watch, and also posted when to my horror the battery died after only a year (my D&G lasted 3) and Marc Ecko recommend “only themselves changing the battery” and having to send it to them, and they’d give me a quote. Quite a shit service I thought, so vowed never to buy their watches again.
Well I have been looking around for watches, just like I usually do with other fashion things too, but then after re-reading my post about my watch dying I thought I would get the battery replaced; Not from Marc Ecko like they insist, but from a local place. I don’t really care too much about the watch, I like it but I don’t love it any more.
So I got the battery changed, and all is well
It did cost £20 which is a disgrace since they only need to put in a new battery, but oh well there is not much you can do. If I sent it to Marc Ecko it could of cost more and been far too inconvenient; having to pay to send it, then pay for it, then waiting for it to be sent back.
I need an everyday watch, and I like to keep my D&G watch for a night out, so I will wear this for a while until I see another which takes my fancy

Hey Everyone!
I was going to wear my Marc Ecko watch the other day, and i went to put it on and i noticed the time was wrong…Then i looked again and it stopped!!
I cant believe i have had this watch just around a year, and the battery is already dead! This cost £180, so its not exactly a cheap watch; Not only that, my good D&G watch which i LOVE is almost 3 years old, cost around the same, and is still going strong on the original battery.
How can Marc Ecko sell something for such a large amount of money and give you the worst quality! Sure, i could get the battery replaced, but that would cost money, probably a lot. Marc Ecko say in their limited warrenty that you should only get them to replace the battery or any part, and you have to send your watch away for a quote. WTF!? I paid lots of money for one of their watches, and they expect me to send it to them so they can hold it to ransom!!
There is no way i will send them my watch.
I will never buy a Marc Ecko watch again, or any other product by them. I would never recommend anyone buy their products, they cost a premium, but you get budget quality and service.

I havent bought a new watch for a while now, i have had these 2 for around 3 years, maybe it is time for a new one. The first one i got was the Dolce and Gabbana Watch, i love it. It is big, D&G, and bling.
The next year i got an even bigger one which i saw. It is Marc Ecko, with a slightly bigger face. Even though this is a newer watch i prefer my D&G watch, i just think it looks better. What do you think?
The next watch could be an Ice Watch. I like the look of this one, but the brand is not as prestegious as D&G. My other 2 watches are silver, so it might be nice to get a black one for some variation. This one is around £200.
