Fashionable Purchases Today

Posted by Michael on Thursday 13th October, 2011

Yesterday I ordered some things from ASOS and they have come today :) Take a look at what I have; Lots of jeans, a knit top and even some ties! :P

A pair of True Religion jeans with some very distinct stitching. I love these, and have been looking at getting them for a while, and finally got round to it. “Billy Super T” jeans from True Religion.

V Neck Knit from Junk De Luxe. I have blogged about this before, so finally bought it. It is of good quality, just as I expect from Junk De Luxe. I need some semi-smart knits for day-to-day and work etc.

Pepe Jeans. I have never bought this brand, they are famous and iconic of course and go way back, but I never found many retailers who stock them. I found these and like the wash, something a little different, they are a nice loose fit.

Cheap Monday, could be my favourite high street brand which I have never actually seen on the high street! :P These are a little more raw than what I usually go for, the wash is much lighter than I usually get too; But I wanted some variation in my jeans, so picked these up :)

My second pair of True Religion Jeans for today :P These are super smart black “GONO” jeans, so comfortable. I love True Religion, they are premium, but you can tell where your extra money goes.

Finally two ties…Ties?! I am not much of a tie person, but I have a few smart (plain) shirts now and thought these would go well with them if I want to smarten things up; They are skinny fashionable ties as you can see. Silver and purple.

So there you go! :) I am happy with my purchases, everything fits and I love all of em, no need to send anything back for once :P I probably won’t need any more new jeans for a while either ;)

New Jeans, Boxers And Converse

Posted by Michael on Thursday 8th September, 2011

Hey blog! :P

Today I got some new stuff from ASOS, and here is what I got…

Converse Ox Speciality In Green. I also have these in blue, and I have some similar red ones too :)

Cheap Monday jeans. These were incredibly cheap! Only £27, I tried them on and they feel great and fit so good. They are a 31″ which is rare to get, I have to say its my perfect size ;)

Armani Boxers. I haven’t bought any boxers for a while now, so got some of these. I like the colour, really nice. They look a little short, I prefer a bit longer really.

I also got some True Religion jeans in a size 28″ which do not fit :( I thought they might, they should, since I have 2 pair of 30″ which is massive, I guess these are a different fit. Anyway they will go back, and they don’t have a 30″ in them left, and the other pair I would of got have sold out of 30″ too :(

Evisu Asia Collection Denim

Posted by Michael on Tuesday 26th July, 2011

Evisu is a premium denim brand which I have loved for many years; My favourite of its styles as always been the EU:ED European Edition jeans. They were soft and had a good fit, but it seems like they don’t do those any more.

They have brought out their Asia Collection, which are jeans with vintage cuts from raw denim.

The Osaka ones are available to buy from their site now, priced at £190

London 2011 – Purchases – Evisu & Acne

Posted by Michael on Wednesday 13th July, 2011

Here is what I picked up in London at the weekend. Not much for me, there wasn’t too much I needed or wanted, and time did get the better of me haha. I will have to go back ;)

Red Evisu T Shirt. I already have this in pale light blue, but do like it so got another.

Evisu T Shirt in light blue. I love this colour.

I have not bought much Evisu for a while, but still have some tees. I can now put them to the bottom of my wardrobe and wear these new ones :P

Acne jeans. What a drama getting these jeans. Firstly they don’t do a 30″ waist and 34″ leg, then the 30″ was a bit tight and 32″ was huge. So decided on getting the 30″. They are a tight fit, but its alright, its not too bad :) I have wanted some Acne jeans for a while now and finally got some.

My Clothing Purchases: June 2011

Posted by Michael on Wednesday 29th June, 2011

I got some things I really like including another pair of white jeans, and many t-shirts for the summer :)

Humor T Shirt. Cool graphic :)

DR Denim Striped T Shirt. I like this, the quality feels really nice, the sleeves seem a bit short, I will have to see when I try it on.

River Island NYC T Shirt. This has 3/4 sleeves, its a baseball style which I like. Grey and purple, I thought I would go for something a bit different.

A really nice smart tee from Ted Baker. Again feels like really good quality, as I have come to expect from Ted Baker :)

Evisu T Shirt, the brand is one of my old favourites, and I haven’t had anything Evisu for a while so picked this up.

Another pair of White jeans, these ones from Tommy Hilfiger. I remember when Tommy Hilfiger used to be a really good denim brand, and good fashion label, they seemed to have lost their way a bit, other brands came to the forefront and they sort of got left behind. I have seen more and more things from Tommy Hilfiger I like so maybe I will get some more :) These feel really nice, I will see how they look and feel when I try them on.

I  All of this ;)

True Religion Jackson White Jeans

Posted by Michael on Wednesday 8th June, 2011

As you know I got some white jeans for the summer, and I love my Monkee Jeans. I might get another pair of white jeans, what do you think?

I have seen these by True Religion which I like.

I already have a couple pair of True Religion, and I really like them. I think they have taken over from Evisu over the past few years of the premium denim brand to be seen in. The gull has been replaced with a “U” They all have different model name, from Ricky to Jack to Billy, and these ones are “Jackson”. The different names denote the fit.

These are around £128 but you also have to pay tax since their site lists it without tax for some reason, so just a bit over £150 if you buy direct from True Religion.

What do you think?

Humor T-Shirt, Monkee Genes, Junk De Luxe Tee

Posted by Michael on Wednesday 1st June, 2011

Here are my purchases from ASOS today. I got:

Monkee Genes, Junk De Luxe long sleeve top and a Humor T Shirt. I also got some other things which I am sending back as they were no good.

Humor multi-stripe t shirt. I blogged about this and I did buy it! :D I tried it on and it looks and feels great :)

Long sleeve t shirt from Junk De Luxe. I love this, it is really good quality. It looks a bit “grandad-ish” in this pic but wearing it looks good. I really like it :)

Monkee Genes Jeans. I already got a white pair of Monkee Genes and was impressed with the quality, and now I have bought these. Only £48, Monkee Genes is my new “everyday” brand of jeans. I love their stuff :) These are skinny jeans, and good lord they are skinny! I had to sit down to take them off that is how skinny they are! :D

Mens Summer Fashion 2011 – White Jeans

Posted by Michael on Saturday 14th May, 2011

The Summer season is here, so its time to get our your summer wardrobe, or add to it. What do you think of white jeans for men? They are seen and sold in women’s fashion, but in men’s they are not as popular.

The good thing about white jeans is that they can look very fashionable and can either look uber sleek and smart if all in white, or can be really set off by wearing some nice footwear and a belt. They are also a lighter warmer colour for the summer, and do add a bit more sophistication to your look.

If you want to break from the crowd in the mid-blue denim wash that many wear, then white jeans must be considered.

Here are 3 pair which I have found and like.

  1. Armani Jeans, Strech Slim cut £155 from House Of Fraser [here]
  2. Hugo Boss Slim Jeans £119 from Selfridges [here]
  3. Paul Smith Selvedge Slim fit £199 from Selfridges [here]

They can be styled with a big variety of footwear, aswell as belts, and will look great with the right shirt or t-shirt.

If you are ready to add some colour and variation to your summer wardrobe then I would recommend getting a pair of white jeans :)
