England And Germany E12 Collegiate Track Top’s

Posted by Michael on Friday 4th May, 2012

Euro 2012 is round the corner, and Adidas have come up with some really striking designs when it comes to their E12 Collegiate track tops. They have a few available for different countries, but the best designs I have seen come from England and Germany.

This is where football and sport meets fashion, and these Adidas Original jackets look amazing.

Both jackets have features which symbolise and individualise each one. The prints on the front look really good, with the German Eagle and the Lion for England. Both jackets are white, with the England one being trimmed in red and Germany being trimmed in black with red and gold. The England jacket has a number 11 and “ENGLAND” printed on the reverse, while the Germany jacket has the number 5 and “DEUTSCHLAND” printed on the reverse.

It is classic and fashionable Adidas Originals meets 1970s meets fashion, and you get these unique track jackets.

Get one of these iconic jackets for only £70.

Jeremy Scott For Adidas Summer 2012 Jackets

Posted by Michael on Wednesday 2nd May, 2012

I was browsing around and found some quite unique jackets, by Jeremy Scott for Adidas. This is not the first collaboration from the pair, last year we saw the Leopard print jacket which was very striking, and this time round sees more of the same.

The first jacket is a pink and black button up style piece, featuring the traditional Adidas three stripes on the arms of the jacket, with guitar print to the front and musical notes on the back.

The second is a yellow zip up also features the infamous Adidas Originals three stripes down the arms, and has a tape measure print.

Both are currently available from Adidas, priced at £155 and £140 respectively.

Just Bought: All Saints Jacket & MR KG Kurt Geiger Shoes

Posted by Michael on Thursday 1st March, 2012

Hello blog!

Today I have bought a couple of things, a new jacket and new pair of shoes.

The jacket I picked up was from the All Saints store in Newcastle, and was the powder denim one which I blogged about before. It’s really nice, lightweight and short, really great for the summer and nights out. They had just got it in the store, it was not even on the shop floor, someone had to get it from the back, so I may be the first one to buy it from the Newcastle store ;)

I also got some shoes, I HATE buying shoes which I have mentioned before, I dunno why I just do! :P I found a couple of pair, tried a few on and bought these MR KG by Kurt Geiger ones from Fenwick Newcastle. I had the poor girl running all over getting me different ones in different sizes, I am a 9 in these MR KG shoes, my previous (Base London) shoes are a 10. The sales girl was amazing and helpful and I ended up getting this pair which I like.

All Saints powder grey denim jacket. – £95

MR KG Kurt Geiger Shoes – £55 (from Fenwick)

Grey Washed Denim Jackets For Spring 2012

Posted by Michael on Thursday 23rd February, 2012

I have found a few denim jackets for this spring. I like denim jackets, they are rugged and add a bit of vintage feel but can still be soft and nice to wear. The biggest problem I have with them is that if you wear jeans and you wear a “jean jacket”, then it can look like you are wearing some sort of denim tracksuit.

I have found some denim jackets that will work well with dark colour denim, and they look really good.

I really like these 2 jackets. Both give a washed out vintage style of look. They can be worn with almost any colour denim and will contrast well.

The first jacket is by All Saints and is the “powder denim jacket” in washed grey. This is a slim fitting jacket and comes cabbage-rolled for added vintage effect. £95 at All Saints.

The second is a jacket from Nudie Jeans and is the Nudie Terry Sunbleach Wash Denim Jacket. Slightly darker than the All Saints jacket, this one features soft denim and is a regular fit. This one is a little more expensive at £120.

Chunky buttons come with both of these jackets which I love, giving them that added extra premium feel.

My Barbour: Chelsea Polar Quilt

Posted by Michael on Tuesday 15th November, 2011

Finally bought, and finally on my blog, my Barbour jacket! :D

When I went to look at the jackets I was going to go for the Powell jacket in black, it was the one I wanted and liked. Unfortunately they did not have it in a Medium, and after trying on the large and a medium of a couple of other style Barbours, I wanted to get the medium.

The one I went for was the Chelsea Polar Quilt. Like the Powell it has a fleece lining which was one of the things I wanted to go for, this is a jacket I will wear mostly in the winter and want it to be warm as well as stylish, so this was perfect for me. It is really smart, simple and sleek with no big logos or patches, the other thing I was looking for as I will be wearing this as a smart but warm jacket for a night out.

The main difference I could tell from this to the Powell was the outer shell. This one has a more cotton feel rather than a silky polyester feel, but it still feels very nice. It has some extra little touches too, such as the suede collar and cuff detailing, which is a nice finish.

I did not know that Barbour was from South Shields when I was gonna buy one, which makes it even cooler, since I am supporting the North East, where I am from :D

The Barbour Chelsea Quilt cost £150 and I got it from Fenwicks. Last year everyone was buying a Barbour, it looks like this winter is no different.

Fashion Wishlist – 26th October 2011

Posted by Michael on Wednesday 26th October, 2011

Just a little mini wishlist of a few things I have found while browsing which have caught my eye.

Jageer Cashmere Knits – I really like these. I have picked out a red round neck and a black V Neck. These would both look great with a shirt or simple t-shirt underneath. It is the perfect combination for a night out or even smart day wear.

Comme des Garçons T Shirt – I already have one, and really like this one. Red, and featuring an oversize logo printed on the front. When you buy  Comme des Garçons you do get quality, and they are one of the more distinctive brands of 2011.

Comme des Garçons Cardigan – Here I have pictured a dark grey one, but I also like the black. I really do like my cardigans, they are so versatile and I wear them a lot. I haven’t bought one for a while, so this one could be the one. It is expensive, this runs at around £300.

So I may get myself either the cardigan or one of the knits, what do you think? The cardigan I will get the most wear out of, and I love it. But the knits are something a bit different, they are cashmere and are half the price.

UPDATE

How could I forget a Barbour!

Had my eye on them a while. Did not bother getting one last year, probably the only person on the planet who didn’t :P I want a really nice and smart style like above, so when it is absolutely freezing I can wear it on a night out ;)

H&M October 2011 – A Few Picks

Posted by Michael on Monday 3rd October, 2011

A couple of jackets and knits from H&M which I think look good…

  • Grey fine knit jumper, £19.99
  • Dark grey cable knit jumper £29.99
  • Double breasted jacket, wool blend £49.99
  • Double hooke eye fasteners jacket £39.99

What do you think? I really like the first knit jumper and the double breasted jacket, I need a warm smart jacket for this winter and I think it would be a good addition and look good for going out.
