I never really look at my own blog on my own phone. I tried it yesterday and it looks good, and it works really well. I remember in the old days of a few years ago where sites would look terrible on phones, and be too small and you couldnt use them properly. not anymore

Remember you can add my blog to your iPhone homescreen
I posted about it before……..

If you wanna see how to do it please check out my guide HERE

I know i am not the only person with these. If you have an iPhone you will probably of experienced this, the infamous Auto Correction. When you type it will guess the word you are trying to type if it thinks you have typed it wrong, and automatically correct it. The problem is, when you dont mistype, and it thinks you have and replaces the word. This happens lots if you live in the north, and write “mam” for mother, and it replaces it as “man”. This can be very confusing for the person reading it, e.g. “I am going to my Mans house” probably not the best thing you want to write if you are a guy
Normally if i am paying attention to what i am writing i will spot things like this before i send them. On this occasion i didnt, and sent this:

Hahahahaha

Hey!
I have put together this little guide so if you have an iPhone you can add me to your home screen, and carry my blog with you

1. Load up my blog in Safari. The address is http://www.michaeladams.eu
Press the Plus sign (+)

2 – Click on Add To Home Screen

3 – Wait a few seconds and you will se my picture. Add a name, i suggest Michael or something quite small, the iPhone will shorten the name anyway, to something like mich..blog, so i suggest something simple and a few chars.

4 – Thats it! All Done
I will now be on your home screen
When you press on me you will go straight to my blog. I think its pretty cool.

Yes, Finally, I went out and upgraded my mobile, from a iPhone 3G to an iPhone 4. I have to say, i am impressed with it
OK, It isnt too different, there is not a huge amount of things which are new, but the things which are noticeable are good.
Screen – It is very bright and very, very clear. Old pics from my previous phone look really sharp on the screen.
Touchscreen – It is really responsive, much faster than the previous one.
Faster – It is much faster and more responsive in general, inc. opening apps, messages etc.
I am not an Apple fanboy, but i liked my iPhone 3G, and this adds a few more things which make it better; It only really needed minor tweaks, which is what that has.
Another great thing was i could transfer all settings messages and everything from the old phone to the new one, which is very cool. I used to hate swapping phones and loosing messages.
I might actually use this one with apps and things like that, i never really used my last one with regards to apps and things like that.
I already got a few cool apps on it

Something old….Something New

I have had my iPhone for over 18 months now, i am going to get the new iPhone 4 very soon
But the mute switch on mine has fallen off!
I have it, and i have tried to put it back on, which is fine, i just dont want it to fall off randomly and then not be able to find it!
I have put a tiny bit of superglue on it and see if that will keep it from falling off, so we will see. It doesnt matter too much to me, i always have it on silent, and i will be getting my new iPhone 4 soon like i said
This is not uncommon apparently, i have been reading around and some people have said the same thing has happened to them, Apple have replaced their phones for free, but mine isnt in warranty anymore, so i would have to pay for anything.

What a cheek!!! O2 have put their iPhone 4 packages up by £20!! This is a disgrace.

I checked the other day, only 2-3 days ago and they had the packages i wanted which i highlighted above, for £179 and £119, i went online today to order and it was £20 more! Not only that, it now says it will take upto 5 days to be delivered.
This is just the tip of the iceberg really, they have increaed all their packages and tariffs, the current one i am on, is £35, and i get 600 minutes and “unlimited” data, and now there is no unlimited data its 500mb and for the same tariff as what i have its £5 more.
Things are supposed to get cheaper or you are supposed to get more! You arent supposed to get less and pay more.
Get your act together O2!!

Hey!
Ok, so i have been due a renewal for my mobile phone for almost 2 months now, and still havent renewed because i dont know what to get. I think it is going to be either the iPhone 4, or the Samsung Galaxy S.
iPhone 4
I like my iPhone, it works and does everything i want it to. The new iPhone has a few improvements, and makes it better than the current one i have. But if i get it, its still just an iPhone, i have one already, its not going to feel like a new toy. I am also worried that they will launch a newer model, since this one had issues dropping the signal.
Samsung Galaxy S
Its powered by Android which is different, and i wanna try it out. But there isnt the same number of apps as the Apple App store, and probably will never be. There are lots of apps which i would want, but a few which i have on the Apple store there wont be. I also used a Samsung before, and the touchscreen was terrible, but maybe this one will be better.
Which ever i choose i would be stuck with for 18 months, so i have to choose the right one. If i choose the wrong one, i would have to buy the other sim free, which is around £400 for the Samsung, and £500 for the iPhone.
What do you think?

Apple gave some crappy conference the other day, discussing the iPhone 4, and the problems it has. Specifically the antenna problem, with weak and dropping signal.
They acknowledge there is a problem, but did not recall the product. Instead, offer customers a free bumper, which is the plastic case you can buy for £25 which is a rip off anyway.
I cant stand companies like this. Its a top of the range phone, for a premium price, it obviously has a problem, and they wont say sorry, or do a proper recall. Sure, they are offering people a free piece of plastic, i think its an insult. They say they will give anyone a full refund if they arent happy, i wonder how many people actually get it.
I am so glad i havent got one yet….I imagine if this is a real problem they will have to come up with a new design, which means anyone who already has one and doesnt get a refund soon will loose out.
Of course the fanboys dont care, if they dont bigger fool them. If it was any other company there would be a recall or public outcry, simple as that.

If you are out and about (or at work with no computer) and want to watch the football, you can.
ITV have an app (free) which lets you watch live streams and highlights of the games from the World Cup. I had a try of some highlights, they arent the best quality, and its obviously a small screen, but i suppose its better than nothing.

If you are a geek you probably already know, if you are not then you may not care. The next iPhone was officially announced yesterday, the iPhone 4, or iPhone OS4, or whatever you care to call it (which will probably be ‘the new iPhone’).
It features a new design, its thinner and has a couple of nice new features. These would be the new 5mp camera with autofocus and LED flash, front facing camera which can be used for video calling, HD video recording (720p) and higher resolution display. Other features you may not notice or care about but are cool are the upgraded wifi to ‘n’, 3-axis giro, and a better battery life.
The battery is said to give 7 hours talktime on 3G, 14 hours on 2G, and a standby time of 300 hours. Internet use is an improved 6 hours on 3G and 10 hours on wifi, and music playback will give you upto 40 hours. Video playback will give you 10 hours.
The power behind the whole thing is an Apple A4 processor, the very same one as the iPad; So you have the power of an iPad in your pocket
The best thing is the release date. My contract for my iPhone runs out on 28th June. The new iPhone will be released in 5 countries on its initial release, and i am happy to say one of them is the UK, with a release date of 24th June. So, i may just get one
Other countries it’s released in are USA, Germany, France and Japan.
