I woke up today happy, last night Spain won their vital game against Chile 2-1, and got through to the last 16, where they will face neighbours Portugal. They didnt play particuarly well, but a win is a win, and hopefully will play better in the next game.

Its a grudge match, the last time they played in competition it was Euro 2004 in Portugal, where Portugal beat a poor Spain 1-0.

Tonight there is the crap games of the round, Uruguay vs South Korea @ 3PM, and tonight USA vs Ghana @ 7.30PM.

Well done to England, who made a meal of it, but finally got through the group. They didnt finish top, USA scored a late goal and jumped ahead of England and Slovenia and finished top.

The teams will play those out of Group D, which is Germany, Serbia, Ghana or Australia.

I really want to see England – Germany. So i hope Germany win and top the group

Friday night is the next big game, where Spain play Chile, and a win will do very nicely

Yesterday Germany played in the World Cup. They have looked the most impressive team so far, beat Australia 4-0, and should of been more. The Aussies went down to 10 men, with Cahill getting sent off, it was never a red card. Germany hammered them anyway, and would of no matter if it was 10 or 11. Some goals from Poldi and Miro, Muller and Cacau sealed the win. Klose could and should of had at least a hattrick.

I got this shirt in 2008, it has “11″ Klose printing on it. I also have the away shirt with “20″ Podolski. Germany are probably my 3rd team, behind Spain and England of course No idea why really, always liked Germany. How big does it look!? Its more like a dress than a t-shirt I like to get a size above for football shirts usually, this is an XL, i am a medium now so these days buy large.

Tonight Italy are playing Paraguay, so COME ON PARAGUAY!!

How are you today? Unless you have been living under a rock then you will know England drew with USA, which is what i predicted and have been saying for ages. That means the next game they will have even more pressure on them to win, which wont be good.

They should win of course, but with the chances they had last night they should of won then. I dont want to be down on England, Robert Green made a shocking mistake, but it was a mistake, and they happen. England missed a load of chances, but at least they created them, it could of been alot worse. Emile Heskey played well and assisted the goal, so he’s answering his critics the best way, so much like me

So, England, yeah it was a crap result, England should be beating the likes of the USA, but at least the performance was decent.

Today its my 3rd team playing, Germany Goldi Poldi Halleluja

The world cup has begun I watched the first game (obviously) and it was 1-1 with South Africa and Mexico. I assume you already know this.

I blew up my Adidas ball…As you can see. Its like i was a child getting his first football, who needs technology when you have football!

Tonight its France – Uruguay. Come’on Uruguay!

This World cup could be the one known as the one where most of the players didnt play because of injury. We already know about people like David Beckham who has been ruled out for ages, but today Didier Drogba has broken his arm in a warm-up game against Japan, and Rio Ferdinand has left hospital on crutches after a scan.

Latest rumors are that Drogba is out, but nothing on Ferdinand.

UPDATE: Rio Ferdinand is OUT of the world cup. Michael Dawson is on his way to South Africa.

Yes the world cup is coming, that means a lot of what i write is going to be based around football. I got a magazine the other day, with all the footballs from the previous world cups in, and i saw this Adidas Tango ball. Its so cool and retro, and one of the most famous footballs there is

I have to get one It is so good! Adidas are making newer versions of it, it first made its appearence at the 1978 world cup in Argentina, and the “Tango España” came in the 1982 world cup in Spain.

I remember having the Subbuteo versions of this, that is how famous the ball was

I did have the Tricolore, which was the ball for France ’98

Well well well…

Everyone has been going around saying Liverpool would throw the game against Chelsea so ManU wouldnt win another title. Steven Gerrard didnt do himself or Liverpool any favours when he setup Didier Drogba with a terrible backpass, MR Liverpool could have handed Chelsea the title. Man United are playing later.

I watched the Sheff Wed – Crystal Palace game, and it was exciting. I wanted Sheff Wed to win and stay up, but they couldnt manage it and drew 2-2, so go down to League 1.

Newcastle kept up winning ways, beating a 10-man QPR 1-0 and securing a 102 points total to take to the Premiership next season. Blackpool also won, getting them in the playoffs, it would be great for them and Ian Holloway to get into the Premier league.

The Football is on right now! Two games, Sheff Wed vs Palace, the battle to stay in the championship. Sheff Wed need to win, Palace can draw or win to stay up.

The other big games are Liverpool vs Chelsea, and later Sunderland vs Man U. Man U need to win, and if they dont and Chelsea do, Chelsea win the league

Newcastle are also playing QPR, but have already won the league, so not much to play for. One point needed to get 100 points, a win will be 102 points!
