I got a Facebook friend request and it got accepted again, however I didnt make it! I am sick of this happening, Facebook really need to sort whatever problems they have out.

They claim I requested to be this persons friend July 2009, which is over a year ago, and this person just adds me now. Its really suspicious, because the person also adding a large number today aswell, and it would seem they had little or no friends before today.

I have wrote about it before here. Pretty sick of it happening actually. Why would you accept a friend you dont know, or send them a message or anything!?

Has this happened to anyone before?

I go on Facebook, and there is an unknown person in my stream, as if they are my friend. I check my friend list, and my friend request is pending, or in some cases, this person is my friend. It looks like i have added them, or tried to add them, but i havent.

I think this is some kind of bug in Facebook, and hackers are exploiting it. Why? Because the people who add me have hardly any friends and it seems like they are new users to Facebook, so i imagine they are not real people or anything. This only happens every now and again, and its always “people” who havent got much activity on Facebook.

Could i be hacked? I suppose its possible, but then why would it only add the odd person every now and again? I also changed my password twice since, and its still happening. Nobody else has access to my computer or phone.

This Request Cannot Be Sent. Do you know this user personally? To prevent the misuse of Facebook this request cannot be sent.

I know LOADS of people are having this problem, including myself. Its fucking stupid and needs fixing!! Yeah, there are sad people who add anyone, and things like that, but come on! Its supposed to be Facebook, to connect with people, and they are stopping that. I tried to add someone it recommended, someone i had 2 mutual friends with, and it stopped me! I have <100 friends so there shouldnt be a problem, so whats up Facebook!?

Its supposed to be if you add too many friends, or have pending requests, well i have none, i dont know if the person who i try to add does, but thats not my fault is it!??!?

Seriously, Facebook needs to fix this stupid problems, no wonder people complain and are leaving.

I want Facebook to change the status from Single to “Ridin’ Solo” I think it would be rather funny

There is even a group of people who want this, i didnt know anything about that when i thought it would be a good idea, but so do 50,000 other people because thats how many was in the group

So what do you actually think of Facebook? Big waste of time? Sad people who add 700 people they dont know? Losers who update their status every 5 minutes?

I have blogged before how i hate the people with hundreds of friends, most of whom they dont know, never known and have no intention of knowing…They just happened to go to the same school, or even sadder, have the same name!! (Losers!)

I like parts of Facebook, It is good to let people know what you are upto and find out what others are upto, and you can do this indirectly or directly if you choose.

Someone who i knew ages ago added me just recently, it was good to catch up and see what they had been upto and let them know what i have been doing. It is good to catch up with old friends, and interesting too, you may have a certain image about a person and they could be completely different a few years down the line

Of course the opposite of this is someone you didnt like can always look on your profile or even try to add you…There is always “block” i suppose

I love days like today…It was sunny before aswell, its gone all cloudy now tho I was gonna show off the panoramic feature of my Sony HX5 camera aswell Nevermind, i am sure we will get at least 1 more sunny day before the year is out

I really feel like getting drunk this weekend! I havent really got drunk for ages, i cant actually remember when. So, this weekend, i will make it a priority. I still have a full bottle of Jägermeister, its being kept nice and freezing cold in my fridge.

So, Facebook. We all use it (well most of us), and threre has been loads of changes in terms of who you can let see your profile, which means either more, or less people can view it. This is because the regional networks have gone, so you can no longer make it viewable to only people in your region, which i think is a shame.

Now, i used to not allow everyone to view my profile, because i didnt really want everyone to have access to it. I have now fliped this, and made more or less my whole profile available to everyone excluding the ones i dont want to see it.

This is done by using the block feature. There are plenty of people out there who i wouldnt want to read my Facebook, and are sad enough to do so. Fuck the haters and sad people!!! So the way you can get round this, is to block them. They will not know you have done this, if they search for you, then you simply will not show up. Now, there are a few ways around this, but the way i look at it is if people try to get round me blocking them, JUST to see my profile then they are a bigger loser than i thought!

On another note, i cant believe how people can manage their profile with 100s of “friends”. On my business account i have over 100, and i cannot keep track of them! I know people with 600 and even over 1000 so called “friends”…Why would you want this many? I would love to hear one of them people tell you something about each person, or even say as many full names as they can.

There was some sad person who i went to school with, who has over 100 “friends”. The thing is, 90% of the people are just randoms who he used to go to school with, in most cases who he didnt even know. I actually know one of them, and asked her about him, she said recognised his name and that was all. What a sado! Oh, he did add me…And i deleted him! LOL

If people want to add me and talk to me then fine, if they are adding me to get their numbers up then i will delete them soon later.

I had to write February 2010 as Facebook keep changing their layout, permissions, and other things. Anyway, here is the new Facebook. If you have already had this layout for a while i am sorry, i just got it today. If you dont have it yet then this is what is to come.

To be honest, not much has changed. The bar at the bottom no longer exists, which is a shame since i used to use it to get to groups and pages. What is strange is that on my monitor in the resolution i use, it doesnt look like the main centre column is actually in the centre.

What do you think of it? It’s probably just a matter of time before there are some more changes.
