Audi are now making a car for me! Thats right, they are making a car which seems like its targeted at me and people like me; Young, having some money, wanting a good badge on their car. They have come up with the Audi A1, and it looks really good!

Its basically a Fiesta sized car, with an Audi badge. But with that you can the Audi engineering and design, plus some cool things like two tone paint, nice wheels, even 7 forward gears! Finally a good car company comes up with a small cool car which is priced for me

I say its for “people like me” because I was reading a Audi Forum to see if there was a waiting list and people are the same age range as me. 4 or 5 people aged 24 – 27 with decent jobs. BTW how anal are those car forums, “hello I am bill 26 from Birmingham, I just ordered….” LOL!

I think prices start at £12,000, but by the time you pick a good model and add things on you are talking about £15,000.

Here is my Fiesta. When I bought it they started at £7995 I think, by the time I got the one I wanted it was £9995, which was a real bargain at the time (Metallic Paint, Style+, Air-con, painted mirrors and painted everything else, Bluetooth etc.)

Since my Fiesta is still new and there is bound to be some premium on an A1 since its a new Audi, I will probably wait for a year.

Well since the sun is shining i have washed my car. It needed it, it had lots of bird crap on it, and general dirt and dust. I HATE washing my car, but i did it

The thing about washing the car is that you wash it, then a bug goes on it and spoils it! It happens all the time!

Speaking of bugs, i had to clean LOADS of greenflies off the fron of the car, i couldnt believe how many of them were on it. We have had lots of them around over the past few days, I cant stand them, tiny little things!

Anyway glad that is over, no more cleaning of the car for at least a month!

Well I have almost had my car a year now, my lovely blue Ford Fiesta. Now i have to get it serviced, the tax is also due, aswell as the insurance! So there is 3 things i have to pay for all in the same month! This is the problem with buying a new car!

So the tax is £120/year, i cant remember how much the insurance was, but they havent sent me a new quote yet, and the service will cost about £150! That is a disgrace, because the car is still so new, i have only done 3100 miles in it! They will look at it, and i might get an oil change if i am lucky…They will stamp my book, and charge me £150 for the honor! What a disgrace! I have to go to the manufacturer to get a service, so then it shows “full manufacturer service history” so when i come to sell it, it will sell for more than one without.

They could at least give it a wash and valet it or something!

Here is my car, in the snow. I had to clear the snow off most of it, and start it up since i havent drove anywhere for a while. I thought it would be funny to write my name on the roof, turns out it was quite thick, and not as easy as i thought to do! As you can see, i got all the way to the letter ‘e’, then my frozen fingers got the better of me and i messed it up
